This curry doesn't taste like other curry powders I've bought before. My first clue should have been the reddish tint to what should have been otherwise a golden yellow. But upon my first taste I realized that this is just curry powder in name only. It tastes of chili powder with a bunch of other spices randomly thrown in. This has neither the scent nor the flavor of more traditional Indian style curries I purchased elsewhere. I didn't mind the heat level. But it really didn't match the flavor or aroma of more traditional curry powders. I would not purchase this again and I DO NOT recommend.
