Degrades the resolution - does not work as promised in specs
I have two identical external displays DELL UP2716D, which I am connecting to my Mac (2019) on MAC's USB-C output (one for each display) through Avico adapter ( this ) then HDMI cable to my monitor.It is a straight connection USB-C to HDMI over the adapter, nothing complicated.Once the monitor is connected MAC recognizes the monitor as DP2HDMI 1820 (???) and offers only up to 1920x1080 resolution ( see the picture ) while the second monitor connected directly (no Avico adapter) USB-C to DP cable is properly showing DELL UP2716D monitor with correct resolution 2560x1440.This post is in direct disagreement what Andrew posted based on his experience, he may still be right if he did not need higher resolution. It does not work in my case at all despite the provider station that the resolution of 2560x1440 is supported.Unfortunately, I purchased 6 of these to facilitate the setup with KVM with HDMI connectors, which obviously failed to work due to this issue with the adapter.I will be more than happy to update the post with positive review once the issue is resolved (if it can be ) but that would have to be proven first, and I am running out of my options to configure/test. Most likely I will be returning all the adapters.

Great 4k 60Hz USB C -> HDMI Cable
Let me preface by sharing my current setup: - 2019 Intel MacBook Pro (personal) - 2022 M1 MacBook pro (work) - TESmart KVM Switch (1 Monitor 2 Devices) - 4k60hz LG Monitor (lg-27BL85U-W; great one btw...)I bought these solely for the purpose of being able to use a KVM switch for my work and personal MacBook Pros. However, I did NOT want to settle on using those disgusting "dongles" that MacBook seems to require. Fortunately, I found these cables to go directly into my MacBooks (USB C) and feed the video into my KVM switch (HDMI) and then finally output to my monitor (HDMI -> HDMI).THESE WORK PERFECT! They do NOT flicker. The only thing I did had to do to get them right is make sure the display settings had the correct refresh rate (60hz), and that the color profile was set to LG HDR 4k (my monitor).Highly recommend! 5/5 - get these.BTW, I did test these out as direct connections so from my MacBook Pro -> Monitor, and they worked as good as the cable that came out of the box. So if you're just using these as direct connections - very well made cables.

Great option for dual monitor needs for laptop
I have a laptop with a USb-C and an HDMI port. I needed to have a dual monitor option but did not want to purchase a docking station. This is a great, cheaper alternative to purchasing a docking station. Especially, if you have an existing HDMI port and a USB-C port.
