I've had this kit for about three years, and I LOVE it.I have tried following several tutorials on doing rivets with wire, and they were all a struggle. I took a class with Gwen well before the introduction of her kit, and it was the first time I'd had repeatable results with rivets. I was so excited when she released the Riveting Essentials Kit, and purchased it immediately. It makes riveting easy for beginners and also experienced jewelry artists alike. The little brass spacers are shaped in such a way that it's easy to get into hard-to-reach spaces, and they are marked with the gauge so you know what thickness to use. The easy-to-follow instructions help you get up and running quickly, and there are even some jewelry tutorials online (WubbersU) that feature this tool. You can also use it to rivet pre-made bezels onto your jewelry.There are some other riveting "kits" on the market that require specialty fasteners...with this kit you can use fine silver wire from any supplier. If you like cold connections in your work, you'll love this.
