I purchased this cushion to aid me with my wheelchair and prolonged seating. I fooled the provider's ad and got the weight recommended firm unit. I have to admit, it is too firm and hurts to sit for prolonged use. The shape is not ergonomic as it raises in the middle and tapers on the end making it had to balance in a normal upright position. I frequently have to remove the cushion so I can deal with the pain. If you are looking for a new cushion please look somewhere else. This is a bad product.

Though this product is designed well, I had to return it as the pain level got severe due to extreme hardness of the seat.It supports a heavyweight like me without loosing it's shape, but I think it too rigid or may be a wrong product for my situation with scoliosis.Unfortunately pain got aggrevated and unbearable to a point, hence had to return it.
