Good enough for me
Good enough for me, I just wanted to record audio and it did the job, the potentiometer at the bottom is useful

Not useable as an audio microphone preamp !
I used a 3.3 volts battery for testing, to avoid any power supply noise. The audio output signal is shrouded with noise when viewed on an oscilloscope and speech output is modulated with an embeded hissing noise. This product is not suitable for a quality speech amplification, let alone musical instrument sound applications. I understand now that it is really a sound level signal detection module for for experimental projects under software control, but I feel it should not be presented as a quality audio preamp. Total waste of money, in my case.
