The Natural Atlas: A Worldwide Adult Coloring Book

Like all of "Squidoddle" colouring books, this one is wonderful. I love the different maps and there are over 30 doodled maps to colour. The pages are not perforated but I found it easy to tear them out of the book. The dimensions are 21cm x 28cmThe pages are white with black printing. I use alcohol ink pens so the ink will bleed through but I put a piece of cardboard underneath so that it don't go through to another picture. The back of each design is blank (only pictures on the right hand side of the book. This makes it convenient to tear out the picture and not have another one on the reverse.The different maps are Brazil, England, China, France, Northern Ireland, England, South Africa, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, The Netherlands, Portugal, New Zealand, The Republic of Ireland, Russia, Scandinavia, Scotland, Spain, USA, Wales and Australia.There are bonus pages with continents such as Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, North America, South America and two more bonus ones.The back of the book has Free downloads and a link to the Etsy Squidoodle Art Shop. There is also a page about the "Story of the Natural Atlas".There are links to other books by Squidoodle for those who, like me, enjoy his work.There are also codes inside the book for free downloads which are perfect for me, as I teach arts and crafts at a community drop in centre.I have added photographs and will add more from time to time.

And again Steve "Squidoodle' Turner has given us a great adult coloring book that is completely unique, of great quality and showing his awesome talent. This coloring book is filled with 30 doodled maps of different countries drawn by their shape and filled with flowers, leaves and plants including some that are native to each of the countries. Some of the countries, like Australia and the United States, even have an animal or bird that is associated with them, like the kangaroo and the American Bald Eagle. As a bonus, each country's flag is also on the page to color in. Toward the back of the book Steve has the Continents, some bonus pages and a downloadable map he has titled "Leave The World As We Find It', a high quality map that you can color again and again, plus the story behind the book and a dedication to his inspiration, his 2 daughters.The books is as always printed on a good grade of paper and single sided. But most of all, like all of Steve's work, it is hand drawn, one of a kind and original art from very talented, very real and approachable artist. Also included in this book are directions on how to contact Steve, and he will answer you back, plus titles of his other books and how you can take advantage of the many free pages he so generously provides.I can guarantee that you will love this book or any of his work and I have no problem recommending him and his work.

Easily my favourite colouring book, the paper is great quality. I’ve used a variety of markers and none of them bleed through. Pages are one sided so you can take them out and display them is desired. Each design is different based on the country, I love that the artist included native flowers/plants/animals. Country selection is interesting, but I’m glad it is not all Western developed countries.I was impressed to see Israel, Greece, Japan, England, Scotland and Wales (as separate countries). Includes a couple different world maps and provides info to download larger, better quality print out of work map.

Another great offering from Squidoodle Turner!!! 30 single-sided pictures including countries, continents, some bonuses and downloadable content, on quality medium-weight paper. I could see a parent using this for a bit of education and coloring fun with the children. The country pages include the national flag and you can even challenge yourself to spotting the national flower in each illustration.The illustrator has a unique and whimsical style that makes it such fun to color. The paper is a medium weight with a nice smooth texture. I highly suggest purchasing this unique book.

The book itself it fun. I bought it for my grand-sons to color, hoping that they would learn a bit about the different countries as well as have fun.The flags were their favorite part. My only complaint is the paper. It really is awful...thin and grainy (?) I don't know how to describe it so I shall just go with "cheap". Would NOT buy again.

I love this artist's work! It's always beautiful and has an unexpected dash of whimsy. This book is no exception. Each design is printed on a single sided page, which I love, because I use markers and there's no worry about bleeding through to a design on the other side of the page. The designs are mostly floral, and he's tried to incorporate the national flower into each. In some designs (like my beloved USA), there are national birds, too. My only complaint is that some of the designs run pretty close in to the spine of the book. I'll have to break the spine in order to remove the designs for framing, but its no big deal. Certainly not enough of a problem to reduce the star rating! Thanks, Squidoodle, for another great coloring book!!

I absolutely love this new coloring book By Steve "squidoodle" Tuner! It is very well done,he draws all his art work by hand. This is a perfect book for those of us who love to color. I believe this is his 5th book and I have them all.He is my Favorite artist and I'm looking forward to many more books from him ,he does a wonderful job and you an also watch him as he draws his books on his Facebook page. So if you love to color and like coloring books that are different from the rest this book is for you! Thank you Steve for all of your hard work and time just to bring us something enjoyable to color yet again!

So firstly, the practical stuff: this book is about A4 in size, and printed single sided so you don't have to worry about your pens bleeding through and ruining the next image (yay!). It's printed by Amazon, but the paper quality is nice and decent for colouring, and pens don't feather badly at all.The rest: I love this book! I really enjoyed watching this come together in Steve's Facebook group, and have been eagerly awaiting the finished object. It hasn't disappointed. Steve's doodly style works really well for colouring, with nice small spaces but not tiny and fiddly. He has a knack for repeating shapes enough that there's coherence, but not so much you get bored doing the same three squiggles over and over again. It's all hand drawn, which brings natural variation into each flower, leaf or squiggly bit (and that's not a euphemism for wobbly, he draws beautifully!). Steve's an original artist having original ideas, and that's so much more satisfying to support than a company buying and publishing stock pictures. Plus he seems like a thoroughly nice bloke, which is always a bonus, innit?

Absolutely love this book! I first saw a snippet on Squidoodle's Facebook page and I feel like I've waited forever for it to be completed and released! Each country is different and I particularly like how the UK has been separated into the separate countries which is unusual. I cannot wait to start colouring this book, I'm really pleased with it as usual, excellent artwork and a genuinely decent bloke who communicates with the people who colour his art!

Love it! As soon as I saw it, I knew this colouring book was for me! Great designs, great quality and really good price, too. Delivery was as expected and the first night I already had my pens out! I can't wait to crack on with the rest.I'd seen Steve's work on Facebook before, so I already knew it was lovely work.Cheers, mate, I love it!

As a colourist, I found out about Squidoodles designs via Facebook groups. I have watched as each design for this book came to life and I could not wait for it to be in print. The book arrived today and it does not disappoint. The designs are brilliant and the concept behind them when you read Steve's dedication at the back of the book, spot on. Thank you Squidoodle....you did it again =)
