It’s thicker and therefore sturdier than I thought it would be. I expected thin metal. Just use the factory bolts from your spare tire carrier and in about 3 minutes you are good to go. It really cleans up the look of the Jeep.

It’s good Quality but if you have a JK 2009 like I do it allows a lot of water into the vehicle because each of the lines for the flag are cut out. Since the vent cover has to be removed to place this onto the JK tailgate water from rain, car washes, and snow get into the tailgate. If it’s heavy it over flows and then waterfalls into my Trunk causing a ton of issues with carpet and mold.I Need to find out a way to seal up the hole slightly to protect it from Water. Beware of this defect.

Well I just had to, taking it to the next step. Major problem with this logo. I've added a picture incase you can't find the real American flag. If could go back add recut the American Flag. If not i would like to get a refund.

I was looking for something plain to replaced that ugly spare tire holder. Was actually hard to find any that didn't have a graphic or weren't insanely expensive or have an illegal brake light.. There is nothing behind the open stripes to keep the water out of your trunk. As far as I know I haven't had any water actually end up in my trunk, but I also don't go in there very often... Not sure why they just left open grates with no protection behind them...Looks way better than having nothing there though!

Arrived quick. Perfect fit, seems like a good quality finish and heavy enough gauge. I installed it first as a test, not liking how the vent hole remained open. Quick fab with some light guage diamond plate aluminum fixed it up in a few minutes. Looks great.

I really like this plate. I painted an aluminum plate and added it behind the flag.

I LOVE my flag but it only gets 4 stars as I had to alter the back vent. At first I had taken the vent door off and had a big hole where water can get into the trunk space but ordered a white delete plate to place under the flag plate, worked great! Order came protected and no issues with shipping.

High quality but it doesnt let you keep factory vent cover on so it's just open and allows water inside tailgate and into back of jeep.
