I have very thick, medium length, wavy hair. The good part of this device is that my hair stays straighter longer and frizzes less in humid conditions than when I use a flat iron. Just like a flat iron, though, I have to section my hair, and hold the thing at an odd angle to grasp relatively small sections at a time, otherwise it just passes over and does nothing. Because of that, it was as tedious to use as a flat iron, and one pass was not nearly enough to tame my waves. Even though the buttons are recessed, I managed to accidentally decrease the temperature a half dozen times. And, they know what they’re doing by including a heat resistant glove. I learned the hard way it must be used. It’s basic saving grace—for me—we all have different hair—is it’s a lot cheaper than a quality flat iron.

Cumple su función, pero, al menos para mí, no ayuda mucho con el frizz, una plancha serviría más para eso; sin embargo, sí me gustó, mi cabello se acomoda bien, lo del frizz lo termino arreglando con aceitito para cabello y listo. Sí la recomiendo y por el precio, la verdad vale la pena.

My hair was also very shiny and silky after using. I have type 4c hair. It also works great on my daughter's hair. The best hair tool ever.
