Excellent rubber rake head. Perfect for raking leaves, debris off the roof without harming the shingles. The rake head is heavier than a metal one, but that is perfect when attached to a long pole because the weight helps guide the rake where you want it to go. I use this to collect leaves, pine needles, pine cone shells, etc. from the roof valley's which are made of metal flashing. This rake head does not damage the flashing and is quiet. Now, I can reach areas of my roof on a ladder and do not need to climb on the roof. Wonderful.

The rake head seems solid. I read the reviews and the debate about whether standard poles fit or if the socket is too big. Thought I would take the chance that the “complainers” were wrong. Nope. The socket on the rake is loose and slightly rubbery. I’ve tried several standard broom handles, and I can confirm that they do NOT fit into the rake tightly enough to be able to put any pressure on the rake without it twisting and turning. Not sure yet how I’ll solve this problem... In any case, it’s a nice rake (for my shag carpet) but be aware of the challenge.

I love my new rake. It is the best I have ever used. In addition to leaves, I am using it to help me rake up the pecans which I have in my front and back yards. This is making it easy to pick out the pecans that are ready to be shelled and the rest can be in a specific place for me to pick over.My pecan trees's leaves have not yet turned, which blows my mind, but when the fall later, I will have the best rake ever to help get them together.You might want to put in your add that it is good for raking pecans!!

Decent product, horrible execution.As others have said; non-standard broom handle threads, proprietary threads. I did the same thing another guy said, wrapped broom threads with duct tape and is working fine. Worse case scenario I will drill through rake head and a metal broom pole to keep them secure.

The rake head seems sturdy enough. However, the biggest complaint is that you cannot rake the roof surface in a flat position due to the housing for the handle is below the rake tines tips. The rake has to be rocked left or right to rake moss loose. The handle housing needs to be centered above the tines or the tines need to be longer so you can use the rake full width. I found an angle adapter with an acme threads on Amazon to angle the rake head tines above the shaft. We will see how that works out Tuesday when that adapter arrives. Bottom line, the tines need to be longer so the tines all lay flat on the roof surface. Outside of that manufacturing flaw a great concept.Update:8/20/2019I purchased a DocaPole Extension Pole Hinge Tip for the rake head from another Amazon vendor as the current rake head will not lay flat. Now the rake head lies flat.This enables the tines an optimal rake angle as well, for knocking moss and tree drop debris loose off of the roof. The rake head without design improvements is very inefficient and only allows for either left side or right side contact allowing only 4 to 5 inches of raking. The pole hinge tip fixes this problem. Also, the telescoping pole locks clear the edge of the roof now. Changing my review to 5 stars!

My Sweepa Rubber Rake arrived on time and it was exactly what I expected. I use it inside for a very deep pile shag rug. It works very well to help stir up all the stay hair from dogs and people alike. The rake serves as a booster for my vacuum. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend both the product and the company behind it. I especially like that the item is listed as "head only". No surprises. An honest, straight-forward company selling a quality product.

This is sold as the rake head only. No problem, I had bought brooms, scrub brushes, etc. like this before. I would just use one of several threaded handles that I already have.Not so with this rake head!! It won't work with any of the standard handles I have. The head will screw on, but it is such a loose fit the head will fall off when you try to rake! I finally broke down and purchased the handle that is made by the same company. The fit was great and the rake works now. Turns out that the thread pattern on this is fine/narrower than the coarse thread pattern on just about any standard pole!My 2 star rating is because this is just a plain sneaky and dishonest way to sell a product. You need both parts (head and handle) to use this. It should be sold with both parts or at the very least it should be stated very clearly that you need to purchase their odd sized handle if you don't already own one. The way they are selling this just seems like a scam, whether or not it really is. Very poor business practice that tarnished my perception overall.

Item came sooner than expected. Seems sturdy but haven’t used it much yet. I have long hair dogs and actually bought it to remove hair from carpets before vacuuming. Works okay for that but it is a bit jumpy. I still haven’t used it outside but I think it will do a good job.
