All the stars she did it again 😍😍
I always find myself at a loss for words when I finish a Siobhan Davis book because I’m unsure how to put the range of emotions I go through whilst reading into a concise no-spoilery review. If your the type of person who reads a book and lives every moment this is the book for you. This story rips you apart and puts you back together again in all the best ways.Forbidden to love is the second book within the same world as condemned to love these are connected stand-alone mafia romance books. It has everything you come to expect from a Siobhan book. It’s full of angst, love, heartbreak and screaming from the roof tops.Nat and Leo go through the ringer in this book and I love how their relationship is played out in this story. Her relationship with her sons even though well teenage boys pretty much says it all. I did not want this story to end I could have stayed in this book forever but alas all good things come to an end and I cannot wait to go in and do a re-read including Ben and Sierra’s book.A massive five stars for this story, for everything Siobhan’s ability to build a world that pulls you in a cast of characters that grab your heart and won’t let go. Throw in a couple of cameos from that cutey Rowan, and the relationship between Nat and her brother and sister in law and you have everything you need to know this book is going to be an epic read! I cannot wait to see what’s next

loved it
Book was great plot was excellent and I loved the characters. So glad Leo & natalia got their HEA in the end. Shocked what her husband did to her tho! Sick sick man forcing an abortion on her, he came across like a sad man over his previous wife when really he was just another sicko! Great book all in all

Great Read
Loved the story of Leo and Natalie. Very sad love story, full of heartbreak, passion, infidelity and a whole lot of longing. I loved both of these characters and their love and loss due to Natalie's arranged marriage. Not as good as the first with Ben and Sierra, but still worth a read. I enjoyed this book very much. 😍😍

Loved this standalone!
Seeing glimpses of Natalia, and seeing Leo in Condemned To Love, I could not wait for this couple to be brought to life. Siobhan is a fantastic writer that manages to completely suck you into her worlds within sentences. From start to finish, I couldn't put Forbidden to Love down, from the swoon worthy Leo, the fast paced action, the sensual scenes, and watching Natalia come into her own... It was amazing! I love Natalia and Leo but can I keep Leo for myself? He's one of my newest additions to my book boyfriends list. I can't wait for more from this world. Thoroughly enjoyed Forbidden To Love and if you're reading this, I hope you give it a go.

Good Story - Disappointing Finish
I don't often read Mafia stories but hey, it's Siobhan Davis. You read a mafia story by this author, for sure. What could go wrong. Well, the ending. That's what could go wrong. The big event is a 2 page let down, the ending leaves everything up in the air making a mockery of the standalone claim, the story finishes with approx 25 minutes reading time remaining leaving you with a "Huh, that's it???" I feel so let down after what was up until then a decent story.

Another Siobhan Davis book that pulls you in and doesn't let you out until it has put you back together again.I loved the past and present elements of the book and learning how Leo & Natalia's story started. This book was everything you could want from a second-chance, sexy mafia story. The story was what second chances are all about and I loved the mafia story that runs alongside the romance.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brilliant
Once again brilliant loved Natalia & Leo love story, really felt how they loved each other but so many reasons why they couldn't be together. Don't want to say too much to ruin the book. Can't wait to read Serena & Alesso story next. Your books are all amazing have not read one book that I don't like.

4 1/2 stars
Although a standalone, the story carries on from Condemed to Love. Its Bennetts sister Natalia and Leo's story. Great read and loved their journey from a 17 year old in love with her brothers best friendAs in all mafia society Natalia has an arranged marriage to an older man with twin boys. This is her journey.Loved the characters but my heart still belongs to Bennett ❤

Outstanding
This was a story that I became so wrapped up in that I lost sleep, cried, laughed and was on the edge of my seat constantly. I fell in love with their love story and felt every bit of their pain mwhile they longed for one another.I was slightly disappointed in the HEA as it seemed unfinished.

Swoony, sexy mafia magic
Siobhan Davis writes mafia romance like she invented it. What a sexy, dark, and gripping love story! Forbidden to Love sparkles with everything I love about mafia romance- thrilling action, mafia intrigue, passionate soulmates, and a seductive allure- but enhanced by the bold, edgy finesse of Siobhan Davis. This story is sinfully addictive from start to finish- yet another unforgettable Siobhan Davis masterpiece. Siobhan has fast become my go to for mafia romance- I can't get enough of her writing!LEO- oh my bleeding heart. I knew I would adore him. Siobhan infuses him with a captivating complexity- the loyal, stoic, devoted mafia man who finds himself at odds with his duty over his forbidden desire for his best friend’s sister Natalia- a mafia princess. But Leo isn’t your one dimensional alpha mafia man- he’s got so much internal yumminess. His gentle and protective heart, his deep love for his chosen family. He’s clever and loving, but like Natalia, he’s also trapped by his responsibility and by the social forays of mafia life. His choices, the sacrifices and mistakes, give this story so much angsty drama as we watch him muddle through what seems to be an impossible choice- his heart, or his life.Natalia shines so brightly- she gives this book it’s soul. Like most mafia princesses, she’s trapped in a life she wouldn’t choose, and while she’s resolved to accept her responsibilities, she still has this admirable subversive streak. She finds ways to subtly rebel and build her strength- in part because of the freedom she feels in her love for Leo. SO MUCH LONGING! Her heart is so big and open- I loved how vulnerable and honest she is, and it broke my heart to see her shattered by her world over and over again. But that makes for the most compelling character arc of this story- we get to watch Natalie evolve and grow. Outgrowing the besotted desperate teen and emerging as a cunning, indomitable womanThe narrative of this story surprised me in so many ways- yet again the brilliance of Siobhan Davis. I won’t say much because I don’t want to spoil- but just how their story is constructed, the narrative approach used to unfold their love wasn’t at all how I thought this story would go- but I loved it. It made for such a rich and intense connection between these two- making my heart desperate to fight for them. There are lots of twists and unexpected elements- a few devastating and heartbreaking and even triggering-but it just adds to the epic star crossed element of this story. This is a love HARD FOUGHT, but a love that can not be contained, despite tragedy, loss, and endless obstacles. Truly, Siobhan's gift of marrying the bold and darkly suspenseful with the angsty and emotional has no better match than the mafia trope- and I hope we get more and more to come, because I can not get enough of her mafia story telling. Page turning, heart squeezing, jaw dropping mafia magnificence!

Forbidden to love is another masterpiece written by my favourite author Sibohan Davis. I was caught from the first page up to the end. It's angsty, exciting, romantic, suspenseful and I haven't found anything similar llike Siobhan Davis' stories, characters and style of writing. I hope to get more of this stuff anytime soon.Congrats Siobhan Davis. You made my day.

Another outstanding standalone!
This is a standalone mafia second chance romance in the same world as Condemned to love by Siobhan Davis. It's Natalia Mazzone ( Bennett's sister) and Leo Messina's (a soldier working for Ben and his father and also Natalia's brother Matteo's bestfriend) story.“I don’t want that for you. You deserve better.”“I deserve you,” she whispers, peering longingly at me through her gorgeous blue peepers. “You deserve better than me, and we both know it.”I can't explain much of the plot without giving away spoilers but I can say that, Nat was the proper dutiful mafia princess who knew that she was going to be used as a pawn to solidify some contracts with other mafia families by being forced into a loveless arranged marriage and that's what exactly happens in her case. Problem is that, she has always loved her brother's best friend, Leo and doesn't want to get married to the monster that is her future fiance. Nat was really strong and opinionated, I'll give that to her. She was firm at her point and answered back to her father to fight for her freedom. I really liked her smart personality but life got into her way and circumstances trapped her in a marriage without love and affection but with huge responsibilities.“In every lifetime, I would choose you, Natalia.” Taking her hand, I place it over my heart. “We may be apart, dolcezza, but you will always be the only woman I love.”Leo always loved Nat from afar and even he tried his best but unfortunately he couldn't do anything to get her out of the inevitable fate that lied ahead of her. Nat & Leo's story was heartbreaking, painful and at the same time thrilling and exciting. It was emotional with plot twists that I really didn't see coming. The angst was delivered perfectly and reading Nat's point of view made me cry buckets. Regardless of all the pain, the book ends with Leo & Nat getting their much deserved HEA and the epilogue made me feel so dam happy for them! Overall, I loved getting to visit some known and unknown characters in the book and the bond between Ben & Nat was really heartwarming. I'm most definitely looking forward to reading the next book which is apparently going to be about Alesso & Serena.
