One of my favorite products, the size and quality is solid. The mounting and serting of your design is much simpler than what I saw through the videos. The configuration is pretty quick. Just have a cleR design on mind or lay them on the carpet and play around until you get the right configuration for you. The colors are super and the panels are Super Super bright. On the pictures and video they were set at less than 5% because otherwize the reflect of the light doesnt allow you to take a clear picture or video. My only call out is that you will have extra " cable" between each panel connection as expected so you can have wiggle room, however the panels aren't heavy and the adhesive is pretty averga so depsite that I did spent 30 second pressing each one, as requested in the instructions. However, after a day or two de bending extra cord hidden in the back and the "average" adhesive, does not held the hexagons in place. them very well so it end up adding an extra double sided tape so they could stick nicely. Love the quality, size, functionalities,and price its a great product! Go grab yours!

I bought these lights and upon receiving them, one light in the lot of 10 was not functioning properly. I reached out to Govee on the app and their customer service responded to my ticket within 5 minutes. Within 30 minutes we had it all squared away and they were sending me a fix for the light. I couldn’t be happier with the lights, usability of their mobile app and general ease of connecting it to things like Alexa. Overall quality of the lights is really solid and the brightness is almost too bright I had to turn them down. So many color options and scenes to choose from. I’ll be buying from them again with confidence in their customer support.

***UPDATE: I was blown away by the Govee customer support after reaching out to them explaining the issue. They were extremely quick to respond (within about an hour) to my inquiry and immediately took steps to rectify my problem. They sent me a replacement that arrived in less than 48 hours, and the adhesive on this batch seems much better after setting them up. I was extremely impressed with the customer service and as I stated in my original review, the actual lights are beautiful. This has made me confident to continue purchasing and recommending Govee's products to friends and family. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hate to write this review, as I love all of my other Govee products, but this really was a disappointing purchase. I have bought near $1000 of Govee lights over the past couple months and this is the first one that really was a terrible experience. As for the lights themselves, they are absolutely gorgeous. And the actual instructions for setup were fairly easy so no problems there. But oh god, the adhesion I would give a 0/10 if I could. I spent about an hour perfectly planning out my design, measuring for perfect placement, and very meticulously leveling each light panel as I followed the instructions on sticking them to the wall. In the morning I carefully cleaned the wall with isopropyl alcohol just to make sure there was no residue on the walls, then in the evening when it was time to actually install the hexa lights, I followed the instructions and wiped the wall with a dry cloth and then for each light I applied pressure for 60 seconds just to be safe. As I finished getting all the panels up and calibrated, one of the hex lights came unstuck. I wiped the wall again where that specific one fell off, reattached it, and went to sleep. Overnight, 2 of the 10 lights fell off the wall and were disconnected. 3 of the remaining 8 on the wall were not attached, but were just hanging from the support of some of the other lights. This whole installation has been a disaster from the start and has been an horrible user experience, which is a shame because the light quality for these themselves are great. So now I have to make the decision if I need to go and pay out of pocket to buy a bunch of command strips and reinstall all of these completely over again, or I am going to return them. I still haven't decided, but I wanted to provide this as a warning to all others looking to purchase this particular light.

These panels are another smash hit from Govee. I love it, it's very bright, app is easy to control, and the RGBIC lighting is excellent. But, there's a few problems with it. First, you need the app to change its color and scenes, you can't change it from the power box. And second, DO NOT USE THE ADHESIVES INCLUDED! If you want to move it later, do not use it or it'll rip off parts of your wall. You are much better off using 3M Strips or Other Adhesive solutions. It's great, but adhesives are absolutely not trustworthy.

I bought the Govee Glide Hexa Light Panels about a year ago, and I still get a little excited every time I turn them on. I have them mounted on the wall above my bed, and they completely transformed that part of the room into something modern, colorful, and genuinely relaxing. They’re one of those rare purchases that’s both functional and a statement piece—and a year later, they still feel fresh and fun. The installation process was pretty simple. The panels come with a template and sticky pads, so lining them up and getting the layout right was easier than I expected. I played around with a few design options before settling on one that fit the space just right, and it’s nice knowing you can always buy more panels and expand your design if you want to change things up later. Once they were on the wall and powered up—wow. These lights are bright when you want them to be, but also incredibly smooth and subtle when you dial them down. The color transitions are clean, and the RGBIC tech means you can show multiple colors at once across the panels. It’s not just on/off or one color at a time—it’s this dynamic, moving spectrum of light that really feels next-level. The Govee app gives you a ton of control. You can choose from dozens of preset scenes or create your own. I’ve got a few favorites saved for different moods—warm tones in the evening when I’m winding down, cooler whites during the day, and some of the more animated, colorful options when I want something a little more energetic. The music sync mode is also a blast. It reacts surprisingly well to whatever’s playing, and it’s fun for everything from chill playlists to party music. One of the best things is how stable and reliable these have been. Over the last year, I haven’t had any issues with the connection or performance. The panels respond instantly through the app or voice commands, and they’ve stayed firmly attached to the wall with no peeling or sagging. I’ve had friends and family comment on how cool they look, and more than one person has gone out and bought their own set after seeing mine in action. Whether the rest of the lights are off and I’m using them as ambient lighting, or they’re part of a music-sync setup while I hang out in my room, they always bring something extra to the space. In short: after a full year, these lights still feel like one of the best additions I’ve made to my home. If you’re looking for something that combines smart tech, stylish design, and pure fun, the Govee Hexa Panels are absolutely worth it.

I bought this when it was on sale for around $132 total so I can say with confidence it was worth that price point. Its so bright that I actually have it running around 15% brightness majority of the time. One thing I will say before installing this, is that the adhesive for this is INSANELY STRONG, it will rip off your wall paint, if you decide to reposition it or take it off for any reason. I highly recommend having a different set of double sided adhesive on hand before installing just in case. Other than that it has many combinations and patterns you can work with in the app and the product itself. Good luck with the install!

Looks great on my wall. Easy to customize. Easy to set up once you've read the instructions. Definitely worth the money

First amazon review I've ever made, but I'm so frustrated that I couldn't help it. I really regret buying this stupid product. After 2 months I've had to hang them back up about 5 or 6 times. The adhesive strips are completely useless. Perhaps a bit of the problem is that my walls have a little bit of texture to them, but my real gripe is there's no alternative mounting options... The clips that hold the little plastic removable mounting piece to the light are infinitely stronger than the adhesive. If you need to pull a light off, you're 100% of the time just going to rip the adhesive off of the wall. and then after one use, its even more useless. Once one light falls, it'll pull the rest down. Then they all get all scratched up from falling on each other and then you have all kinds of scuffs and marks on the lights that look terrible. I've even tried supergluing the stupid things to the wall. Superglued about half that fell, eventually the other half fell and when I tried to take off one of the superglued ones to unplug the connector, instead of the light coming off of the bracket, it just ripped the paint off of the wall. The bracket is attached to the light stronger than the paint is stuck to the wall. Great design, govee. It would be such a better design if the brackets weren't attached to the lights with the strength of 100 men and had a screw hole in them so you could temporarily stick the lights to the wall to set them up, then remove the lights while actually successfully leaving the brackets on the wall to screw them in permanently. I get if some people don't want to screw them in, fine, make the screw optional, but make it an option. Super frustrating. I will say though the lights are really cool. Very bright. It's just a shame that they're all scratched up now and I had to basically destroy my wall to get them to stick. I'd MUCH rather have a little screw hole to fill than a paint chip to deal with. Very disappointing.
