Jake's answer is so funny ... and so wrong. It's true this product adapts microSD cards to fit in SD card slots. But there are devices that allow SD cards to fit in microSD slots (no shrinking rays involved). what is the GB size of this sd card?

This is just an adapter, there is no memory in it. Its meant to put a mini SD card inside to be able to place it into something that does not take a mini SD card like a computer.

can i plug in a 1tb micro sd into this?

I am sure you can. I just used one 2 days ago and it worked fine. Transferred files from my desktop to it for use on my Samsung tablet. Just make sure the device you are going to use the 1 TB micro sd card on, does not have a limit on the size of card it can read.
