Anna-KaciRenaissance Peasant Maiden Boho Inspired Cap Sleeve Lace Trim Maxi Dress

I got this dress for our trip to Tombstone Arizona, I wanted to look a little bit old timey but not like I was in a costume. I tried a few other dresses and this is the winner. It looked really good with a pair of Western booties. The stitching on the waist does go up kind of high but I figured nobody would really notice. Maybe when I have some time out take those stitches out and it'll look nicer. I ordered the medium and I think it just fit, the large probably would have been a little baggy. Overall I'm very happy that I got the dress, I wore it twice on our vacation and it feels really nice to wear, and I think it's pretty.

This dress is beautiful. It's also made of cotton which is the material I prefer to wear. In order for the top part of the dress to fit correctly, you'd have to show lots of cleavage. I'm not comfortable with that, so I removed 2 rows of the elastic with a seam ripper so the elastic would be just below the bust where it's supposed to be. There are 5 double rows of elastic. In my case, a few of the rows were on the breast and not below. Granted if you pull the front of the dress down, it will fit correctly, but you will be showing lots of cleavage. I'm including pictures to show just what I did to make the dress fit me more modestly. I used a '"seam ripper" to remove the elastic, so just be very careful and take your time if you choose to do this instead of sending the dress back. I chose to keep it because it's such a comfortable cotton dress. By the way, my dress is a large and I'm 155 lbs. I put "fit as expected" because there is really nothing else I could put. I didn't put that the dress was "too small" because I wouldn't want women ordering a size larger because other than the cleavage/breast area issue the dress fit comfortably and not tight at all. The first picture shows what the dress looks like on me with the left side having 2 rows of elastic removed and what it looks like without the elastic removed on the right. The second picture is of the dress turned inside out so you could see how it looks with and without the elastic removed.

Finding the right clothing for a specific occasion can make you look and feel better. My wife loves cute dresses and when she was shopping for one recently, she came across this Anna-Kaci Renaissance Peasant Maiden Boho Inspired Cap Sleeve Lace Trim Dress and felt it was the right one for an upcoming event.As for appearance, this dress is certainly pretty and it’s well made. The fabric mix of approximately two- thirds cotton and one- third polyester is also good, and it feels comfy against the skin. Where the dress loses some points is with the sizing. The sleeves are tight and the elastic is uncomfortable, tight at the breasts and hips.I got my wife the white colored dress and while it is very vivid and bright, and goes with most anything, in hindsight perhaps the off- white would have been a better choice. It’s a matter of preference, but the white is maybe a little too white. Still, it does match with most anything and that’s a good thing.A pretty, comfy dress does make an occasion better. This dress is certainly nice to look at and the floral lace accents are attractive. You don’t need a slip underneath, as this is not see- through, which is another plus. The only issue is with the tightness. Otherwise, this is a good dress choice overall.

We were worried this dress would be huge on our daughter but it fit great! Nice and modest in the bust area, fitted and flowy. She loves it! For reference, she is 5’3”, barely 100 lbs, usually a size XS.

I love this dress, I bought it in purple the last time, and liked it so much I wanted it in black. The only thing is that the sizing varies on these dresses. The purple fits a little better, and the black is a bit tighter. Not to the point that I'm returning it, but just wanted to let others know.

This dress is cute, but I can’t judge beyond that, as I was unable to wear it. The size chart only lists bust and waist measurements. Since I fall within the range for XXL, I ordered it. While I can, indeed, get it on my bust and waist, I am unable to pull it down over my hips and butt. If you are curvy and fall around the upper limit of XXL in the size chart, don’t order this. It won’t fit if your hips/butt are much bigger around than your waist. Had the size chart included a hip measurement, I could have avoided the disappointment and hassle of ordering this and now having to return it.

Whether you’re going to a Renaissance Faire, a wedding, or just out and about, this is the perfect dress.I cannot rave about this dress enough. It’s beautiful, affordable, and comfortable! I like to be comfy even when dressing up and you don’t sacrifice any comfort in this thing! I get tons of compliments on it every time I wear it. It can be dressed up or down, fancy or casual: extremely versitile!I was a bit nervous about getting it, as the smallest size was a small. I’m 5’3,105 lbs, and I always have to wear an XS. This dress fit me perfectly! There’s a great deal of forgiveness in the bodice, it both stretches and hangs beautifully. If you’re a bit more endowed in the bosom, I’d recommend taking out the top two lines of elastic. There’s another reviewer who has pictures showing how she did it.All in all, the perfect dress! I bought the royal blue, but I’m definitely getting the beige one as well!

I am 5ft 9in, and 7 months pregnant @229 lbs.I got the xxl in burgandy.This dress is beautiful and fit well. It's light and breezy for hot summer festival days, can have leggings under it for cooler falls days, and worked out fantastic for a last minute Halloween costume as a fortune teller and will double duty as a renaissance festival dress and maybe even a maternity photoshoot.My only complaint is I wish it were a touch longer, it's about 7-8 inches above my ankles, but I'm also an Albatros... the upside, my boobs looked fab, definitely 0 regrets, and wouldn't mind it in green.Cold water machine wash, AIR DRY for best results.

My tween wanted a black dress to be "goth". This was a cute compromise for a ten year old. It's still pretty and girlie but gives her the dark edge she wants. It's cut appropriately for a child and is flattering without being sexual.

So pretty. Very flattering. Not see through. True to size.

Very nice and comfortable dress. It looks even better than the pictures. The length is perfect. The design is nice and I like the material.
