Pantone Art Postcard Box: 100 Postcards (Pantone Color Chip Card Set)

I used these for daily correspondence with a friend. The design of the addressed side allows for big, legible addresses though the space for text is roughly the size of white space on the front, messages may have to be shorter. They're made of a good, stiff card stock. Most of the colors are pleasant or inspiring and the two surfaces are easy to use with colored pencils, stickers, etc. The print quality is very vivid and free from flaws. Each box is is the same selection which means consistency. They're a standard size for a postcard, normal postcard stamps are sufficient for postage. In addition to correspondence, I used these in a few small art/craft projects like handmade greeting cards and as cards in mailed gifts. Invariably, I'd be accused of using paint samples from hardware stores as a good-humored joke, they were always well received and seen as something unique. These are perfect for anyone who enjoys playing with color or just wants something different.

For color lovers this is a lovely collection of post cards. Great quality... size is good for a post card and thickness is okay... it's not very flimsy but does have bend to it. Great for inspiration, brainstorming or mood boards.

It's kind of odd to be a Pantone fan, but I am! I like to see what their color of the year is, and I even follow them on Instagram. These postcards are gorgeous. They're thick, with a matte finish, and rich gorgeous colors. My teen and I have a tradition. When one of us starts a new book, we help each other pick out a postcard to use as the bookmark. We make sure it matches the colors on the cover of the book but also the general vibe or mood too. Fun!

I have no idea what these reviews about "thin" cards are all about. They are very thick - like your standard issue postcards that you would buy at tourist stands. Someone also mentioned that the cards aren't representative of a full spectrum of colors; I also find this claim to be false. The set obviously doesn't include metallics or neon brights, but it's a wide enough selection for most anyone to be pleased. Also, some people are surprised that these aren't just cards of all color, but if you've ever seen Ppantone swatches before, they always show the color number ID (at the very least). I'm actually really glad that they have this information. The Pantone look is very distinct, and I can't wait to use these for a wall mural! The ONLY issue that I have with these (if it can even be called an issue) is that it looks like they were printed using the 4 color method (CMYK), so you can see the minute individual dots that make up the color. It would have been way cooler (but obviously way more labor intensive on the manufacturer's end) if it was one solid sheet of Pantone color. But oh well!

I bought these for the art Pantone challenge: choose one card each day, paint on that card with acrylic or gouache, then post online. The cards are nice and thick and it is challenging coming up with a palette and design that will look good on that particular Pantone color.

It's exactly what we asked and expected but is kinda messy though. The old cards stapled at the upper corner (1) had samples very small, these cards are amazingly huge (2) however, the old ones worked like a desktop tool besides the pen or a ruler. Today's ones give more space to work, you can take one or two from the deck, and work with them in a project more easily but We are little stressed thinking what is going to happen when the deck falls... What gonna happen when you loose the order... We need some sort of protocol like in a public library or so.

Love these! I don’t plan on sending them out to anyone, but more to have fun creating cohesive color palettes for inspiration. I’m a personal stylist and color is very important in my practice.

postcards were delivered very quickly and looks like the pictures! just a minor problem is that the first card has some smudges on it, but other than that everything is fine :) and the postcards are nice and thick!

1/4 des cartes manquantes, colis qui a été visiblement déjà ouvert et refermé tant bien que mal... dommage car les couleurs sont belles et les cartes en elles-mêmes robustes.

Buen producto, a un tamaño ideal para tenerlo en el escritorio o llevarlo en la mochila. Si bien es cierto que Pantone advierte que es solo para uso artístico y no como especificación de color (quieren que compres la pantonera de toda la vida), viene bien para tener una referencia e inspirarse para cuando buscamos una paleta de colores. A mi me a gustado, a pesar que 2 tarjetas vienen con fallos durante el proceso de impresión. Cabe también destacar que el pedido me llegó con 1 día de antelación.
