How to Start a Home-based Makeup Artist Business (Home-Based Business Series)

I don't usually leave reviews on Amazon and I purchase a lot of books! This book was an easy read and very informative. I am looking to get started in makeup artistry but didn't know where to start. This book covers it all, from beginning to end. I learned so much about starting a new career in makeup artistry and would highly recommend this book to anyone else looking to get started with a career in makeup. A must read!

not only does it give you tips about starting your own MUA business but she also gives great tips about what tools you need and examples of other important subjects, such as contracts...really love her advice

I really like this book! It is well written in a nice tone/language. All the details about makeup you should know about (especially as a makeup artist)is explained and addressed in this great book, from doing the makeup techniques to doing the home-based business. One down side for this book I must say is that it is only in pink and black, and has no photos of any makeup work at all. The color wheel is not even in colors. Over all, it is an excellent source for information in makeup artistry.

This was an okay book. I did find some tips in it but being a beginner. I did not find it as a really easy read. I would say more experience with makeup or just business in a home based setting will probably get really great usage out of this book

I am so glad I found this book!. I gave it a 5 star rating because it has everything you need to know about staring your own business in the field of Makeup Artistry. Nothing is left out. You can tell that the author really wants to help you. I feel like I got to know the author on a personal level and would love to meet her one day. Honesty, it the best money you'll every spent to get started!

just what i ordered, thanks! my sister borrowed it though before i got a chance to read it and i havent seen it since. so im guessing it is working well, shes not a MUA but a chef. she seems pleased with it though, so my guess there is a fair amount of info that is good for most home based businesses which is also awesome!
