Mi in-Ear Headphones Pro HD Silver

Let me just start off by saying that xiaomi is the undisputed king of providing the best value for money in ears in the business. You really won't be finding a better deal that these earbuds. Some companies give good sound quality for a little bit more money but have awful build quality or they have good build but subpar audio. Xiaomi truly does not compromise and I find that admirable. That being said as consumers we can still praise and give constructive criticism all the same. I have the xiaomi in ear pro from last year for comparison so that's what I'm going to do.The good:Overall the build quality I would say is an upgrade from last year's model. Aesthetically the new brushed metal look its a bit more refined than last year's model and looks sleeker. The cable despite no longer being braided inspires more confidence. And the movement of the cable does not seem to cause as much noise when you have the earphones in. This is all great. I never really cared for the braided cable and this new cable seems better. The in line microphone and controls has been VASTLY improved. It use to have annoying plastic buttons that were very thin and I did not care for them at all. This new all metal design for the microphone and controls is great. The microphone itself seems the same quality. I would say that the actually earphone part looks better and seems as durable as its predecessor so no complaints there.The sound quality itself blows me out of the water. They have done a great job improving over their previous model and have much improved mid range frequencies. In comparison to last year's you will notice a dramatic improvement in quality. I suspect that this is because the move from 2 drivers last year to 3 this year ( 2 balanced armatures and one dynamic). Bravo xiaomi. Pretty much every kind of music sounds respectable on this. I can't complain. This really is the highlight.The also have some nice extras like a carrying case and a drawstring carrying pouch.The bad & ugly:The strain relief at the y-split has me anxious about longevity. The stain relief around the connector and the in line controls also have me worried. Granted they are on par with the previous model and the in ear headphones pro never failed despite some pretty serious abuse ( i used them as gym earphones).And also. Someone in xiao mi's design department need to do a major overhaul on their ear tips. They are just no good. I got rid of the original tips on the previous model and quickly switched to sony hybrid eartips on these as well. I know that there is going to be a limit to how nice these can get for this price point but I really can't stand the eartips they include. It is the absolute only thing I really don't like about them. I would legitimately forgo a lot the extras if they would just improve the ear tips. Having a better seal in the ear helps with sound quality so if you do pick these up, I would suggest digging up some ear tips to replace the ones on here.Bottom line: These are incredible in many ways but they are not perfect simply because of the lackluster ear tips.

Although expensive, the material is very high quality and the audio experience is great. The noise cancellation is great when the music is being played at low volume. When there is no music playing I can barely hear anyone. They are so comfortable in my ear I could sleep with them in and forget that I have them in my ear, It's got great bass but not as good as Apple Earpods. The mic works great. It's sensitive so don't yell too loud when you're talking to someone on the phone. I like how it comes with a hard case and a soft pouch to put them in. I use the hard case all the time so that they can last longer. I use these earbuds ever since I got them very often, even when I work or when I do homework, or I want to block reality just to be in my dream world. For the price I would say it's very fair because out of many earphones I have used, these outclass many of them. I strongly recommend getting these earphones if you want premium ones.

I'm not a fanatic audiophile, but an IEM with three drivers in a machined aluminum body for this price is kind of mind blowing. I can't compare to high end IEMs but they are far better than anything else at this price range, and probably better or equal to products triple the price. I was even impressed with the packaging, pretty premium looking for a $30 product. Inline remote works great under android. The stock ear tips didn't work well for me but a set of Comply tips improved fit, isolation, and sound quality (particularly low end) considerably in my experience. YMMV

These headphones are a phenomenal value. The sound quality is fantastic. I'm not an audiophile, but when listening to my music every now and then I'm surprised to pick up a detail in recordings I hadn't heard before. From what I've read, Xiaomi worked with an audio designer and subsidized the price of the end result, so the value is definitely here (check out 1 more design's other still reasonable offerings to see what you are getting)I actually got these to serve as my work computer headset; I wanted a good sounding set that had an in line microphone for conference calls. THe listening experience is better than I expected. The one star missing is based on the microphone. It is in no ways bad, but it picks up a bit more background noise than I'd hoped. My voice is rendered clearly, but in a noisy coffee shop there is no hiding that I'm in ... a noisy coffee shop.Build quality is fantastic. The earpieces themselves are aluminum, giving them a pleasant feel in the hand without dragging on your ears. I do worry long term about the cable longevity since it is bare bones rubberized, but not problems so far. The eartips are only okay, but I don't have a problem with these slipping out.

Really nice quality. Not very much bass to them but they are nice quality in the audio department nonetheless. They are more flat and neutral sounding overall. Very good build quality. I would definitely buy these again without hesitation and well worth the money. Best earbuds for the money and built very premium and comes in top notch packaging. Bought these to use with my Matebook X Pro.

I'm a big fan of Xiaomi ear buds, and - sonically - the latest version is balanced and full-sounding - absolutely no bass boom. They have a reassuring heft, and come in a shrink-wrapped box. I maintain that these buds are easily the best-sounding for the price, and the meticulous design recalls Apple (though the Xiaomi ear speakers sound significantly better)However, the cables are thinner than before. The TPE-style (plastic lined) cable contrasts with the first generations of these buds, which had a thicker, fabric-lined (and kink-free) design.Only time will tell if the buds will last, but the sound is so agreeable than you might want to take extra care with them. (Don't pull on the distal ends, wrap loosely.)

Fazit: Großes Potential, aber das Geld für einen nutzlos vergoldeten Klinkenstecker rausgeschmissen, statt für gute Silikonaufsätze. Diese reißen den Sound so sehr herunter. Ich kann da ein Upgrade auf die Aufsätze der Sony MDR-XP 70AP XtraBass empfehlen. Diese verkauft Sony hier auch als Ersatzteile. Damit gewinnt der Sound ungeahnte Kräfte, und man fragt sich, wie Bose, Sony und Co ihre Preise rechtfertigen.Man liest sehr durchwachsene Rezessionen zu diesem Produkt, dabei werden die Xiaomi Mi HD und HD Pro selbst von Kennnern als günstiger Geheimtipp gehandelt. Merkwürdig... Ich kann sagen, die Kopfhörer schlagen alle meine alten Kopfhörer, selbst die Sony MDR-XB 70AP XtraBass für mittlerweile über 60€, ja sogar die Sony MDR-NC31E für einst über 120€ mit Noise-Cancelling und High-Res Audio.Auffallend ist, die Kopfhörer wirken so unglaublich angenehm verarbeitet. Das Kabel ist samtig und weich isoliert. Es fühlt sich daher angenehm an. Die Aluminiumgehäuse des Steckers, des Bedienelements und der beiden Hörer sind gelungen, optisch und habtsich wirklich schön und wertig. Einzig und alleine weiß der Klinkenstecker nicht zu gefallen. Vergoldeter Stecker? Da ist das Geld vergoldet, und hätte an anderer Stelle besser gepasst (dazu gleich mehr). Man könnte jetzt sagen, es verbessert doch den Klang, da Gold besser leitet. Das tut es, aber nur innerhalb des Goldes. Merke, Reinmetall fließt besser als Legierungen, da der Stromfluss von einem Metall in ein Anderes nie wirklich optimal ist, und da der Strom sowieso in den Stecker muss, verbessert es gar nichts. Und wieso dann Gold? Ein Blick ins Tafelwerk, und die Offenbarung, Kupfer und Silber (beide deutlich günstiger) leiten deutlich besser als Gold. Wenn, dann hätte man einen Stecker aus reinem Kupfer nehmen sollen. Das würde den Widerstand reduzieren, folglich muss das Smartphone weniger Spannung für die selbe Lautstärke anlegen => weniger "Verbrauch".Die Fernbedienung ist leicht zu erreichen, und ist für die Rechte Hand fast optimal gerichtet. Dennoch fasst man anfangs gerne die falsche Taste an. Sie sind einfach zu identisch, aber man gewöhnt sich dann doch dran.Nun zum Silikon. Hier muss ein operativer Eingriff her, wenn es zwar auch nur oberflächliches Feintuning ist. Der Aufsätze sind einfach schlecht. Sie isolieren zwar ausreichend, aber auch nicht besonders gut. Sie sind weich und dünn. Es mangelt ihnen an Substanz. Das macht Sony mit ihren MDR-XB 70AP deutlich besser. Uneben diese passen genau. Der Vorher-Nachher-Effekt ist WOW! Plötzlich sind Patzer nur noch in den Spitzen im hohen Frequenzbereich da. Der Sound ist klar, fast unverfälschte Schönheit. Der Bass ist plötzlich satt, present, nicht devot, aber auch kein dominanter Presslufthammer wie bei den Sonys. Das Klangbild gefällt, überzeugt mit Balance. Wenn ein chinesischer Mönch von ausgeglichener Harmonie spricht, muss er wohl Xiaomi gekauft haben. Indie und Klassik sind wunderbar, auch bei Pop und HipHop keine Probleme. Einzig bei metallischen Geräuschen tendiert der Hörer mit den Mi HD Pro zu Schmerzen im Ohr. Sind diese immer noch etwas verzerrt und klirren wie ein Schlüsselbund teilweise mit leichtem überschreihen. Ich gebe da aber mal eher meinen Ohren die Schuld, sind sie doch exorbitant empfindlich für schrille Laute und Lärm. Der Grund, wieso ich trotz meiner Liebe zur Technik die Arbeit im Autohaus nach einem halben Jahr niedergelegt habe.

Wenn man die Rezensionen auf verschiedenen Seiten und bei Youtube so hört und ließt, dann denkt man schon das sind wahre Preis/Leistungssieger.Nach kurzem hören ist mir aber aufgefallen: Die mitten sind unsauber und der hochton viel zu laut ab ca. 10khz. Habe den In Ears echt mehrere Chancen gegeben. Mit mehreren Handys, am Vorverstärker mit CD Player und am PC. Überall klangen sie etwas unausbalanciert und sehr scharf. Das bin ich von meinen ganzen anderen Kopfhörern nicht gewohnt und ist sehr unangenehm, auch schon bei niedrigem Pegel. Mit Tape mod nimmt der Tiefton etwas zu und man deutlich mehr Tiefe, die Impulsfähigkeit des basses nimmt aber ab. Es wird weicher untenrum, was mir zugegebener maßen auch gefällt. Der hochton bleibt aber dennoch sehr scharf und stechend im Ohr...... Im vergleich schlagen die halb so teuren 1more E1009 diese hier um längen..... allgemein ausgeglichener, nicht scharf im hochton und dennoch Hochwertig verarbeitet. Einzig die Kabelfernbedienung bei den Pro HD von xiaomi ist deutlich hochwertiger. Die Xiaomi Piston sind von den Daten den E1009 übriegens baugleich (beide habe ich auch) Klingen aber etwas anders.... Die Xiaomi Piston sind deutlich zurückhaltender, die E1009 ausgewogener. Preislich sind beide auch in etwa gleich (zumindest wenn man die Originalen kauft und keine Fakes für 3€)....Eine Kaufempfehlung aus Klanglicher Sicht kann ich leider nicht geben. Die Pro HD spielen einfach nicht gut genug. Die Verarbeitung hingegen ist auf einem anderen Level. Die teile wirken echt Wertig und die Fernbedienung hat einfach was. Wenn man mit dem EQ etwas spielt, klingen sie einigermaßen okay, aber dann: Wieso nicht direkt gut klingende kaufen oder welche die billiger sind wenn man eh nachregeln muss...... ;)

3 veces me los he comprado, la calidad de sonido es muy buena para un producto de este precio, sin embargo tienen un fallo de diseño que provoca la misma falla en el mismo lugar. La unión donde el cable se bifurca en dos cables para cada auricular es muy frágil, no soporta mucho esfuerzos de torsión y con el tiempo el recubrimiento del cable comienza a fracturarse en ese punto. Al quedar el cable interior expuesto es normal que se fracture también un poco y por ello veréis reviews quejándose de que un auricular se le escucha más bajo o directamente deja de funcionar. Simplemente con una pieza que hiciese de carcasa en ese punto el problema se solucionaría minimizando así los esfuerzos de torsión y como consecuencia prolongando la vida útil del cable.Evolución de cada uno de los auriculares que me compré:1º vez - me duraron 1 año y unos pocos meses, el cable se fracturó por dónde he mencionado y el auricular derecho dejó de oírse completamente.2º vez - me llegaron unos auriculares que eran de imitación, el material del cable era distinto, las cabezas de los auriculares eran más finas y con una rejilla diferente, y la propia caja de packaging contenía una falsa pegatina de certificación, si comprobabas ese código QR en la web de xiaomi no funcionaba, y la cajita con las almohadillas tenía marcas de defectos de la inyección del plástico con las marcas del molde, a ojos de ingeniero es fácil reconocer aquí la trampa, reutilizaron un producto que normalmente se tiraría a la basura. Obviamente al tener como referencia el sonido de los auriculares previos se podía apreciar que tenían un sonido muy inferior. Curiosamente ya había dejado una review mostrando fotos con las diferencias entre la imitación y los reales y dicha review he visto que ha sido borrada.3º vez - pido otros auriculares, esta vez los que me llegan si son auténticos de nuevo, no obstante, tras 11 meses de uso se está fracturando por el mismo punto el cable y el auricular derecho se escucha más bajo.Opinión general:Para un uso a diario como hago yo no podéis esperar que os duren mucho más de un año como véis, si le das un uso más esporádico, quién sabe, probablemente tardes más en romperlos, pero acabará pasando. La calidad de sonido es una maravilla y más teniendo en cuenta el precio. Los recomendaría? Pues no sé, es una pena que rompan justo por ahí, porque en la zona del jack 3,5mm si que son muy robustos y no tienen pinta que puedan fallar ahí, no sé, diría que si, pero bajo tu propia responsabilidad sabiendo que no son eternos.Pd: a ver si está review persiste en el tiempo y no me la borran.
