Great study material
Great study material! I loved the outlines and graphics provided in each section! The review questions after each section helped assess whether I was taking in what I was reading! The only downfall was the practice test questions did not have the same structure as the actual PPR test.Overall, the book was a great study guide. I passed with a 289/300!

Great study tool
The book was organized and it helpful having the sample questions along the way. I would include a pre test at the beginning to give us an idea of what area we need to focus more on and keep the test at the end as well

Teacher review
It was an ok study book. More of a throw up of information you have to analzye and sort. You get more from Vimeo videos and the actual Texes onlime booklet. The test are nothing like the ones in the book. The book itself is a source of information though

Good luck
Passed test on first try. Questions really prepared me to get my mind wrapped around testing. Test is way easier then any of the practice test in the book

Good reference book, but very poor test prep
This review book offers a great summary of teaching philosophies and practices. However, it is at best a distraction from the PPR exam. I took the Texas PPR test today and was very regretful that I spent any time reviewing this book as it was of very limited relevance to the test I was taking. There is good information in this study guide, however, I found is book to be of no value in preparing for and passing the PPR exam.
