Will this help rid the damp moldy smell I’m getting from my unit?

Yes it did for my ac. I sprayed it on the inside coil and let it work and then sprayed it again to get it all clean. Then I used a fine spray of warm water from a pump sprayer to flush everything out. Don’t forget to clean your filter and wipe down all the vents as far as you can reach.. I used simple green for that.. no more musty mold smell

can this product be used to clean refrigerator coils?

The product contains water, this is not great when it splatters over the condenser motor. Use the condenser coil cleaner instead.

Why is the 4 pack so expensive compared to the 1 pack?

It has to do with shipping. One of these can go a certain way. but because these are aerosol cans, they have to get shipped differently. Steve

What's the difference between this (evap foam) and the similar looking evap fresh? it's for use in a mini-split (indoor unit).

The Nu-Calgon Evap Foam is for cleaning/rinsing the evaporator coil.
