Possibly, if you are wearing this tight, it may improve the look. But I was not happy with the tie-back in conjunction with elastic across the back. Its all crinkled from the elastic, and then I needed to pull the tie back to the max, causing nothing but wrinkles across the back. I am 5'5" and 122#. I ordered a small and it definitely didn't fit like a small, it felt over-sized and bulky. I would have exchanged it for an XS but they didn't carry that size. The style is flattering, from the front, but again, with the bulky elastic neck? It definitely cheapens its appearance. I have worn many similar style halters over the years and they fit like gloves... few have used elastic, but when they have, it has never been at the neck-line, and I have not had the bulkiness and wrinkles across the back.. which definitely takes away from the flattery from the back.It may be an idea to use a spandex denim and ditch all of the extra adjustment areas in order to have a form fitting halter that feels nice, fits appropriately and looks classy. I do realize that it's denim, but when it combines both elastic and tie-back and it's still fitting loose and sloppy? Its a quick throw on for the back yard .... nothing more.

Like another reviewer said, it would be nice if the neck strap was adjustable. It ran large on me. Once I made the waistline as small as possible, I still had some issues with my chest coming out of the sides.

I brought this because I needed a white waistcoat for my Alexander Hamilton cosplay when the show came to town. It wasn't really what I wanted, but I had a deadline and didn't want to spend too much, so this did the trick. Not sure what else I would use it for, but happy that it arrived in time and fit!

Run very small

I am a big girl and ordered the largest size to wear over a blouse. It is a bit too small for me but I am handy and will be altering it to fit. The neck strap is also a little short but that is probably more of a personal issue. I think the quality of the fabric and the finished product is very nice and well done.

Love the halter top, perfectly accentuates my shoulders and minimal cleavage exposure so I can wear anywhere. Makes my waist look smaller!

I like the cut, being halter. However the fabric has a massive amount of stretch, so much so I got a small. I am 5’7 159 lbs 34 GI usually do medium or even large. Cute but the seams are wonky. I starched them heavily to lay down. Not sure if I would recommend…
