These are actually pretty good for the price. I received them a couple weeks ago and have already ordered another set. They shed a bit during shipment but it wasn't a major issue.

I knew they didn't come with bases when I bought 'em, but I didn't realize they would be so top-heavy and hard to mount on a variety of base styles I tried. It's a project in itself just to do that, let alone whatever you're adding them to. I wound up just returning them.

I ordered these Mantouxixi 10Pcs Model Pine Cedar Trees 1:25 scale to use with my HO scale train layout and with a few Dungeons and Dragons terrain tabletop layouts. These trees are a little bit taller than the scales I use (28mm and HO) but I really wanted to add more variety and some height and depth amongst my slightly smaller tress, and this works great for that and overall looks great and fits in well. The trees not having bases with root systems is also not a real problem for me as I use foliage, bushes and taller static grass to cover around the bottom of the trees anyways, but I do wish the bottoms of the trees had points on them as it would make it easier to punch through the foam underneath the grassy surface, but it is a small problem to have and easily adaptable.

I got these to add to the big train layout I have. They seem pretty realistic looking and are pretty much the quality I expected for the $12 price tag. These also a bit unique because people seem to always just have the normal pine trees, so it'll give any layout a little bit of uniqueness in that factor. The stuff doesn't seem to fall off like glitter or anything so that's another positive. These trees could be used in other crafts as well too, so it's not like they have to be used just for trains.
