The Biltwell Lane Splitter is of the same build quality as other waaay more expensive helmets, It's comfortable and fits well. I dig it.

I like the helmet design. I do. But there is no airflow and it’s very hot. Also, when the wind hits it it sounds like thunder. I often find myself looking around for lighting and rain. The chin thingy fell off as well and I haven’t put it back on yet. Would be a great helmet at a much lower price point.

Great helmet and lightweight. Suggest ordering a size up from normal as mine was a bit to tight

I admire this helmet's design. I was considering a Simpson motorcycle helmet but they are generally much more expensive and I actually like this helmet's design better than the Simpson's for a cruiser motorcycle.The visor can be a little hard to open but that's not a big deal. The air vents do not close; this is great in the summer, but of course this can make colder wind harder to tolerate. I like the padding inside the helmet; it fits snug but I could still wear thin leg sunglasses underneath it. The shape of the visor is unique compared to most helmets.Overall I think this helmet looks great, is comfortable enough and I like that is has both DOT & ECE ratings. Be aware of the air vent design if this is an important feature to you.Overall the main issue I have is that the air vents do not close. Very nice helmet overall. I like the flat black color.
