As a cisgender male this product is amazing in every way. Only 4 stars because I haven’t lost 30 lbs yet and I was under the assumption that I don’t need to do anything else but drink a meal replacement shake to drop the weight and it’s taking some time I guess.

didn't care for the flavor

I have been using this product for several years. As much as I like a big breakfast, using this product saves me a lot of time and satisfies my morning hunger cravings. It would be easier to use if it was in a cylinder container versus the bag (thus the 4 stars versus 5). I was buying it direct from the maker, but Amazon shipping is much faster so I do not have to stock up several bags that take up space in my pantry.

I found a dead big black bug in my powder…. I’m so disgusted. I can’t even think about drinking this ever again. 🤮 I usually love this brand because it isn’t chalky tasting, but after finding the bug… I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

Let me preface by saying I just did two workouts and am not super hungry but needed something. I bought this shake as a backup for these situations and I usually don’t rely on daily shakes. It’s been a long while since I’ve had a Wendy’s frosty but that’s what this reminded me of. Not too shabby for my first try.

I have use IdealShake for a few years as my breakfast replacement. Just tried the new version--NOT the same flavor. I made the same mix as always and the flavor is very different and not enjoyable. I compared the ingredient list because I still have a few servings left of the original and the ingredients are different. They lost a customer.

If you liked/loved the IdealShake Chocolate, you certainly won't like the flavor of this new rendition. I was so disappointed - they won't admit they changed the flavor, but will say they improved the nutrition. Well, any improvements are lost if people won't drink it because it doesn't taste good. I'd been buying the IdealShake flavors for years - exception was Peanut Butter flavor: Quest was, and still is, best in this flavor. And I loved the Mocha! Such a loss. I even paid the big bucks for the Exante sample pack of the different Exante "improved" shake flavors, wanting so much to like them. Wouldn't buy any of them. But, I also want to say, to determine my taste preferences, know that I have never understood the people who said the Beachbody powder was so delicious - I couldn't make any flavor taste good! It is horrible. I make all my shakes the same way: 1 cup FF milk, 1 cup water, 2 scoops of whatever flavor/s I chose for the day (chocolate & PB combo is great!!!); shake vigorously and drink. So comparisons are always the same format. Now, Quest is my new go-to. The Chocolate Milkshake isn't as rich as the old Chocolate IdealShake, but it is good enough. Shame on Exante for allowing the flavor to change, but not admitting it. Another one bites the dust.
