Great book and easy to read due to its outline
The book is outlined in small parts. Even while the subject matter is in depth the way the book is outlined makes it easy to break up it in small pieces. I encourage you not to be dismayed by the “old English” or the size of the book. The great teaching is worth your time and combined with the bite sized outline makes it digestible.

One of the greatest works in Christian literature.
The INSTITUTES OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION, by John Calvin and translated by Henry Beveridge, I believe, excluding the Holy Scripture, is the second greatest work on the Christian religion I have read. It is a long and slow read, but well worth reading. I would recommend the Kindle Edition, as the print in the books are small, and Kindle will read it for you if need be.
