These are excellent quality crimp connectors. They mate good & tight with matching connectors and crimp very well when using a double-crimp wire crimper. They look exactly like factory connectors with the insulation crimped inside the large legs. Once attached to the wire, these look exactly like the factory wires that come OEM with wiring harness plugs...that is what the retention tabs are for....they lock the connector into a plastic housing. Also, just to make sure, I checked these and they are NOT magnetic so I full well believe them to be 100% brass or copper! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!

Solid value on 2.8mm crimp connectors, delivered in 2 weeks from China. I purchased these for quick connect/disconnect prototype examples with youth (as alternative to DuPont jumpers when a little more length and secure connection is required), and crimped them with IWISS SN-2549 crimpers. I contacted Baomain to confirm the usage. Apparently they do get inesrted with the lock nestled in the female connector groove, completely through to the stop on the male connector (the tip will overlap the female crimp). Odd, but it works. I guess it provides greater retention security. Baomain also has standard length in tin connectors. *female version included in image to show crimps and insertion

These terminals fit absolutely perfectly in my 50 year old fuel injection harness with a firm connection. However, I have been on the Baomain website looking the correct tool to use on these terminals and I have not yet found *the* tool. In my working career I purchased multiple $100-$150 crimping tools for specific connector series - I know full well that the "correct" crimping tool makes all the difference in an excellent crimped connection. There are many available on Amazon but I want to make certain that I make the one purchase of a tool that works perfectly.

They did the job. Used to hook up a new radio without butchering the OEM harness in a ‘93 Daihatsu.

Very weak and they do not make a safe connection.

Crimp area is too thick and NOTHING you do will allow it to crimp on the wire properly. Sad situation as the female mate to this terminal works perfectly so I know they CAN get it right! I would only recommend these terminals to people who LIKE frustration and failure, everyone else . . . . . not so much!
