Very good product. Packaging could have been just a bit better. Mainly the crate standoffs could been just a couple inches taller. Made the crate more difficult to unload with pallet jack or forklift. Make sure you either have some scrap 2”x4”’s handy, a dolly, or something solid to raise the crate up just a bit. If the vendor could mark the front of the product, that could save some time on moving / flipping the brake around. Product looks to be marketed by several vendors. Found Kaka to have the least markup. Design is good but could be just a bit better. For example: because of the weight - a couple lift points on the brake would be nice, crown adjustment is not the best (all vendors seem to have same issue), better instruction would be helpful. Areas lacking on instructions from Kaka include clean up and assembly should include using WD-40 or Kerosene to clean packing oil / grease and using SAE 30 non-detergent to recoat just bare metal or nicks within coated areas. The grease type kind of looks like a general purpose type of grease. More info on how to adjust the crown could be helpful. The manual that arrives is the correct manual but has the wrong model numbers listed on the cover. A quick video from Kaka posted on YouTube could easily answer the questions on cleanup and assembly as well as give the company a chance to advertise some add-ones for the product. Email responses from vendor support were reasonable but not overly quick or accurate. I’ve only asked fairly simple questions. Product works great (have not had chance to bend 12ga yet) and I saved at least $500 by purchasing a Kaka branded product and ordering through Amazon! This unit will last for years of use!

This is a solid tool. I am pleased with the rigidity, fit & finish, and overall mass. It operates smoothly. This came tipped over and the crate was all busted up but the machine was not damaged. By all appearances, this is the same machine as the JET BPF-1240 40" Box and Pan Brake, but at a much better price point. I would not be surprised if these are made in the same factory - the paint color even looks the same.I only give this 3 stars because it is a real strain to bend 12 ga. with this machine and I bought it specifically to bend 12 ga. With the machine set up properly for 12 ga. it is still a back-breaker to make 16" wide bends on 12 ga. mild steel. Not even close to the full 40" capacity. This machine makes quick, accurate work of 16 ga. and thinner. I made a handle extension and work stop which I hope will improve the usability.

I ordered this Wednesday and it showed up Friday, that’s really fast shipping. I’m happy with it, it looks nice for a made in china piece. Have only made two short bends in 10ga with it but it did it super easy. Hard to beat for the price.

Great product! bends 14 gauge with no problem. Had issues with shipping, crate came in all busted up and a couple of upper fingers were damaged. So far no reply on replacement of the damaged fingers.Update 12/25/2017. Still upper finger hasn't been replaced!!!

We have used this box and pan brake for several jobs now and love it. It doesn’t take up a-lot of room and easy to set and use!!

Works great. The bending angle lock is the feature we needed and use the most.This thing is heavy so make sure you can move it.

Good tool, shipper dropped it on its side and damaged it a bit, luckily I own a fabrication business and was easier for my to repair than to file a claim
