Custom Accessories Shop Craft 37733 12 x 20 x 1/16 High Temperature Gasket Material

Worked great for my Truck mount carpet cleaner water heat exchanger. The factory gasket was like $100 it took me 10 minutes to cut a new one out of this material.I have also used it before for a head gasket on an air compressor its still holding after 8 years.

It was very sturdy and user friendly. Repaced old inspection panel gasket on my 54 Chevy pickup. Will also find some other uses!

I was unsure of the size I need so went with the thicker sort. Should have ordered the 1/32” material, now i know. Can’t fault this company or vendor though and I can probably use it for a new MAF gasket. This gasket is already a unicorn - most replacements I’ve seen come withiut the gasket. This thicker material is a little harder to deal with - to hold flat while cutting. The aluminum parts should bed in ok when tightened up. Be aware this material is rolled up and moderately soft. Many (engine) gaskets are formed from flat sheets of a slightly harder gasket material.

Was able to make a custom gasket that I could not find. The bonus is I have lots of material for other gaskets if I need it

This gasket material works fine but has a flaw. It's so tightly rolled that flattening it out can make it crack if you are in a hurry. I had to get it damp with water and lay it out flat with a block of wood on top for a day so I could use it without damaging it.

Works fine. I used it on my smoker when I rebuilt it. No problems.
