Connecting Threads Print Collection Precut Cotton Quilting Fabric Bundle 10" Squares (Main Street Mercantile)

I like Connecting Threads, and this was first precut material I ever bought. BUT, I was just cutting the 10 inch squares for a pattern and when I got to the very last square, it was 1/4 inch short on one side! Now I will have to make two sides an 1/8 of an inch which isn't very much. I'm very disappointed. I haven't quilted in 15 years and was so excited to see precut fabric as I am almost 70 years old and back problems cause a lot of pain standing and cutting.

It's rare that I love just about every fabric selection in a bundle. This is an exception. The 10" x "10" squares are cut with pinking shears, so there was little fraying when washed. I did not have to de-tangle and cut a mess of threads before putting them in the dryer. I like the fabric repeat, with 2 of each pattern & color for 32 of the 40 squares. I do wish the last 8 had also repeated, but that's a minor objection.

I'm a repeat customer (four orders so far!), and am more than happy with Connecting Threads. The fabrics feel smooth and substantial to the touch, the patterns are attractive and varied, and the colors vivid. I'm eager to place my next order!

The material is being utilized in the making of a quilt. The price was and quality of the material was very good. I would purchase the material. The color of the fabric received was not what was visualized in the photo sample. I would examine the color of the material much more closely in the future. I purchased the material because it looked like various colors of red and cream. To my surprise the fabric pieces also contained light and dark browns plus a color closer to an orange-red which was a disappointment.

I was apprehensive at first ordering on line my fabric as I have never done this before. I have never been so impressed with this line. Excellent color blends, and thick fabric. 😊

My "woodland" fabric was purchased to be used in a quilt. This is another order for me of this particular print. This time I got the 10" layer cake, but previously I purchased a couple charm packs and a jelly roll. The quality of the fabric, its smooth, soft feel along with the stunning prints and patterns of the "woodland" critters made me want to make a second quilt as a gift. I must say that I'm very pleased with the company and product. I cant say the same for a different company.

The Maison Rouge fabric is beautiful, but just so you know, there is a lot of orange color in it. From the photos I thought it was all deep reds, tans, whites, etc., but did not see any orange in the pics provided.Fortunately for me, my daughter loves it with the orange mixed in with the reds, tans, whites, etc., so it works for me.

I love the colors in this set, and my 17 year old granddaughter had a total fit over them. Fairly hefty age difference there, and we both think it's awesome. All the fabrics and threads I've purchased from Connecting Threads have been of the best quality. Very happy with my purchase and I can't wait to make a quilt from these.
