I bought these turnbuckles for the outside service in my garden. So the rust-proof feature is pretty important to me. A magnet test shows low attraction to the body and quite strong one to the screws. The body is marked "304" and most likely this is correct. The screws may be made out of stainless steel, but it does not look like 304 grade. Such material may rust. Time will tell the whole story. As always the dimensions are important. The description lists many of them, but quite incorrectly. I cannot tolerate this. Why would you provide wrong dimensions? Let me fix that. This is a metric product, so I will list the measurements in mm. The minimum length is around 144 mm, the maximum - 210 mm (with screws fully engaged with the body). The threads are M6 (left hand on the hook side). The hook has a 8-9 mm opening, the eye - 10.6 mm. The body is 93 mm long. The material for screws has 5 mm diameter. The fit and finish is decent. Turnbuckles are not polished, but look and function good. The only thing that concerns me is the potential rust. I will update this review later.
