ALLOSUN 3 In1 Digital Oscilloscope Handheld With Usb Multifunction Digital Scope Multimeter Meter 50Mhz EM115A

This is a one of a kind unit. I searched high and low for a multi-function meter and this really is the only unit I could find that had quality specs and performance of multiple meters in one. I tried and returned the Liumy Oscope/DMM as it was a joke. Not only was I stuck with black and white low res LCD display but the scope was pretty much junk and the DMM was on par with my $10 beater DMM. With the MT115A you get a nice resolution color LED display. Finding a DMM with said display STARTS in the $400 range. So big score right there. The scope even only being one channel, so far, works great and the specs are fairly strong - especially for the price point! It IMO keeps up with the $300-$500 units with no problem. So score two there. The auto feature works so nice, I've just resolved myself to use it straight off now. The tone generator is also very good with lots of options and clean output this side of $500. For someone like myself who does mostly low voltage stuff from fixing my kid's toys, working on our car, upgrading the driver/playing with torches etc and occasionally poking the 120/220v house wiring...You can't beat this deal.The only "ding" I can give...okay, two if you want to nit pick - is that the AC mains plug is for European market and no supplied adapter. The power brick says input down to 100v is fine, so an adapter to fit the N American recepticals would have worked. I just grabbed another mains cord I had hanging around and used it for the included power supply. The second little nit pick is the DMM probes are dollar store cheap. Whatever, I just use my nice set. Not a deal breaker in the least.Great product, and when you combine the cost of the unit it becomes a grand slam! Very happy considering one can spend about the same amount on a scope and DMM combo and get a crappy black and white LCD, less features and no signal generator...I'm looking at you Uni-T.I'll try to update with some pics of various screenshots when I get a free moment.

I was looking for a portable small oscilloscope that can also test capacitors (since my DMM lacks that feature). The advantage All Sun has is that it can measures up to 6000uF, had a bright and hi def color screen , is simple and easy to use. And DMM is very good 6000 count and fully automatic.I agree with all good words said about this oscilloscope by other reviewers. Battery was disconnected so make sure before charging battery to remove battery compartment lid and connect the battery. Probes are okay, I would not call them cheap. But DMM probes lack Mini Test Clip attachments and alligators are kind of large and unwieldy. No signal generator cables are included, so I bought some on Amazon "Micsoa BNC Test Leads Set, Oscilloscope Probes BNC to Alligator Clips, BNC to Mini Test Clips, BNC to BNC Cable Leads 3 Pack". Can be used for oscilloscope also.I removed one star because some important features are missing. One is that DMM does not measure current. I have stand alone DMM that does that but still it is strange. Another missing feature is external trigger input. Any oscilloscope has to have that or have a second channel to trigger. Oscilloscope also lacks single or dual cursor measurement. Instead it measures Vmax, Vp-p and some other staff but not True RMS. All Sun makes another model called EM1230 which has two channels, each one of which can trigger and PLUS external trigger input. It does not have signal generator, channels are only half of bandwidth - 25 Mhz vs 50 Mhz and sample rate is 100MSa/s vs 200MSa/s in EM115A (to support two channels with same chips, so second channel comes with price) and most important BNC input connectors in EM1230 are made from plastic which can breaks and is less reliable. And also EM1230 is more expensive, in my case by $60. I am saying all that in case if you find EM115A lacking you can always check out EM1230.

Ok so this unit here is a beautiful looking unit works pretty well and has a nice feel from the rubber ase. Love the bag that comes with it, nice thick with padding. My only issue is the unit will not charge for me. I tried and tried but nothing. I was going to return this and buy another brand, but the All Sun actually reached out to me with and offered to replace the unit the second they receive a tracking number and receipt to refund the shipping for me as well. For this action alone I will five All Sun another go. There are very few companies who will reach out to there customer especially the unhappy ones. To me this shows a commitment to there product and support they will provide.--Edit--Today 2 days after sending the initial unit to All Sun I have my new oscilloscope on the charger now. They quickly refunded the shipping costs and just as quick got me a new scope. Customer Service is A++++. I would highly recommend All Sun as they are dedicated to the customers satisfaction in my experience.
