KamikotoSenshi Dual Knife Set with Wooden Display Stand

Hinge is broken on the box - should have added more padding for something this expensive! There’s no time to return this before Christmas so very disappointed!

Great set of knives super sharp glide through whatever you're cutting. They have a nice weight and balance to them. One of the best set of knives I've had and I've had a bunch. Takes a little getting used to the one-sided Japanese style knife but once you get the hang of it they glide through like you wouldn't believe.

I Really like these knives. They feel good in my hand and seem to hold an edge.

It is so easy to mince and chop. I wish I had more food to prepare!The only negative is the box was broken. I do not plan on storing them in it, so it does not matter to me.

Don't get me wrong these knives are great quality with excellent packaging and presentation. I just don't believe that every reviewer is actually happy with the price. I won these knives playing on totaltrivia.com at a fraction of the price. In my opinion, as with pretty much all other items on dealdash and totaltrivia they are way overpriced to encourage more bidding and to add to the "savings" that the winner thinks they are getting.

The initial delivery was incomplete. Kamikoto went the extra 4 or 5 miles by replacing the entire order with no return of the original.The product is beyond what I expected and the company was a delight to work with.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Be sure you understand that these are Made-in-China "Japanese style" single bevel knives, more difficult to sharpen. But that is not my reason for the single star rating. You see, I ordered my Senshi knife set from Kamikoto after seeing them on a nicely rendered Facebook ad with gorgeous videos, etc (plus I checked Amazon.com) and despite some misgivings about no mention of any refund policy in the ads. Now I know why -- because in order to return these knives, you have to return them all the way to the factory in Japan, even though they are shipped right from Kamikoto's distribution center in Kentucky/USA. Plus, the generic message that I received when I sent my email as soon as the package arrived and I realized my mistake is that a $20 "restocking" fee is applied for each item in the package even though it was a single purchase price of a two-knife set. I have already replied back to Kamokoto "customer service" to see if they are prepared to reconsider that policy, and I will update this review based upon their next reply. Meantime, like I said-- BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I cannot say enough nice things about these knives. From the packaging through the presentation all the way to the quality of this product I have to say amazing. I am super excited to start using these new knives.
