Bought this because I had been struggling with washing by hand my 3,200+ sq ft of Saltillo tile flooring, then I remembered working my way through college cleaning the gym floors. Bought this along with a fantastic commercial grade mop bucket and wringer. Life is so easy now. I get the entire house clean in a little over an hour, compared with three. Loving it. If you are unaccustomed to this type of mopping, I would recommend a mop head that is lighter weight. Either will work well for a private residence, but the lighter weight mop head will dry faster under most residential applications.

Works as needed

This is dumb that I'm writing a review of a mop lol But I have to say, it took me forever to find a regular string mop, and then the one I bought first was terrible. THIS mop is great. It's just a regular old mop like they used to make, and I love it. I was a janitor for 5 years and I'll tell you, sometimes a Swiffer just doesn't get the job done like a good old fashioned string mop. And this one works.

I bet my wife that I could mop better than her with a string mop over her cutesie spin mop. So I ordered this for the competition. I've learned that sometimes it's better to lose a bet. I didn't know that when I displayed my extreme mopping skills. Mop worked great. Currently looking for a gift for my wife that has nothing to do with housework. Any suggestion would be welcome.

Works as should

I thought it would be a old fashioned mop with a handle attached to the mop head. I think over all it is a good product for most. However, if you are old with arthritic hands it is hard to get the mop head on the handle. It is very heavy before it is wet. I am going for my old favorite...rag mop on wood handle.

I love the light weight. I love the handle as I'm 70 years old and this mop is perfect. Once you break it in I find it picks up all dust and leaves my laminate wood and tile floors clean and nice. My back thanks the maker cause it don't leave me in pain. Plus you gave me an extra mop head. Very good buy!
