Traxxas 2082 Gear Set for 2080 Servo

Still plastic, 5 stars because it is what it says it is... it’s genuine traxxas part, but still gonna break easy. Buy a Savox Sw-0250MG as a better upgrade with metal gears and waterproof

100% stock parts. This was the first thing I mangled on my very first drive ever. Talk about a blue-ball letdown! Straight easy install if you are familiar with basic physics/motors. 4 screws to open the case, drop the gears and gasket out right, simple replacement a la matching. 15 minute job once you know what you are doing.

These are the gears needed to replace the Mini Revo Servo gears. They are stock parts and offer no improvements over what was originally in the servo. That being said, I always wished they offered a metal gear option for these.Pros:- Original stock replacement gears- All the parts necessary to get your stripped servo back in running conditionCons:- Not metal gears, so they tend to strip easy under heavy wrecks, especially in a dual servo setup. The servo saver can only do so much.

The four star is for the product, not service. Traxxas should build a quality product for a $300 toy. Build a metal gear set or a stronger servo in general for your 1/16 scale e revo.

Factory quality nice set

To start off with I would give this a zero star If I could . The stock servos suck. I have had my RC car for 1 week and I have already went through 4 packs . My advice I buy a 30$ metal gear servo .

The problem with these gears is that they are plastic. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a metal gear set that directly replaces this one. After replacing the broken gear in my steering servo with its counterpart from this kit, I broke another tooth after about 5 minutes of driving my car. Opened the servo up again, rotated the gear 180 degrees, kept going. Broke yet another tooth just a few minutes later, which put me down and out. My issue might be more pronounced than others driving cars with this same servo... but if you have a go-fast car (VXL) that you tend to run at high speeds over bumps and jumps (as I do), or you otherwise find yourself in need of this gear kit as a result of a routine crash, I would recommend replacing the servo with one that contains metal gears, because these ones are weak.

Pas le choix pour ceux qui ont une mini e-revo. Ces pièces sont très fragiles. J'ai doublé les servos. Cela va un peu mieux.Je recommande pourtant le hoppup pour passer à un servo avec pinions métal ou alors protéger en utilisant un Chassis de protection T-Bone Racing.
