A Primer and a Pep Talk
This is more of an outline than a detailed book. While it does offer some specific and valuable techniques, it's strength is that it lays down the mindset needed to become an independent and profitable music creator. The author gives an overview of the steps needed to get there in a no-BS style. Think of him like a coach, getting you prepared for the game. Given it's brevity, it should be less than $10 IMO, but if it inspires and furthers you on your journey to success, it may well be worth the current $23 price tag.

inspiring!
This book has a ton of information on what it takes to run a real business in music production. It was inspiring to read and I love that it covers so much on each branch of the business.

A helpful guide to a music business model
I’m always on the lookout for ways to make a living with creativity, and ways to help others do the same. The Bedroom Super Producer (BSP) is pretty straightforward in what you would have to do to succeed in music. It won’t hold your hand through everything, like how to make great music, and I think some of the marketing principles are so ingrained in the author’s psyche that he might not be communicating enough about it for some people. I think the point was to get started- he didn’t want it to get too intimidating. The organizational tips and workflows alone were worth the cost of the book.Overall, it is a great short read for everyone who wants to make a living with music without (or before) getting famous.TLDR: the BSP book will teach you how to be a music solopreneur in today’s economy. It will make you informed, systematized, and efficient.

Blueprint for a Successful Pathway!
This book is a blueprint for setting up your music production company and how to achieve your goals. Will it teach you how to be better beat maker? Will it take you to the heights of Timbaland? That is up to you, but it will place into your head how these questions can be improved upon in your own marketing strategy and intestinal fortitude.Solid book with good ideas to get you started on the right path.

Surprisingly Grounded and Useful Book
I think Cloutier’s approach here is very effective. He really provides more of a map and practices than anything gimmicky or a get rich scheme. He says repeatedly it’s a good way to make a music career but it’s not easy. How many authors are brave enough to say you can do this and it may take years.

Produce with passion!
I’ve read them all. Every producer book, every tutorial and this guy finally condensed it all and hit the nail on the head. His advice REAKS of such -giants- as Gary V, Tony Robbins, Steven Covey and the like. This is a bleeding-edge pointed guide on how to ACTUALLY do it right. You’ll feel a real sense of satisfaction reading this as it has a VERY high replay factor! I’ve been producing for over 20 years and literally thought I’d gotten nowhere. Now I have reconsidered my entire strategy. Hope to shake your hand one day J.T !

A must have!
Caught this book by chance on an Instagram post and decided to give it a go. As soon as I opened it I couldn't stop reading it.J. T. Cloutier gives the best advice in an easy-to-read and direct way. He gives you the names of the best tools and libraries to work with and how to cut chunks of time out of your workflow to be more productive and keep everything organized.Couldn't recommend this book enough to anyone trying to up their game or anyone looking to start but doesn't know how.

Good, but not for Hip-Hop producers
At first blush this book gives you the strong impression that it's going to be about Hip-Hop production, which is why I bought it: The lingo in the sample is all very Hip Hop oriented; the author's talking about making insane bangers, and mentioning Drake et al. Post sample in the full book, it immediately switches tack: Rather than insane bangers, you're commanded to view your output as just a digital product to pimp out, and the book actually turns out to be a brief guide on how to produce and market pop-orchestral background music and jingles for content creators on TV and Youtube. Now this is actually perfectly viable, if it's what you wanted to do, but if not, then you're going to be left a bit nonplussed. The info in the book is actually pretty good, if a bit time-dependant - in five years it will probably seem quite outdated because it relies heavily on you purchasing products which are current on the market and paying to join forums which may be redundant in the future. There is also a lot of 'fill in the blanks yourself' stuff, i.e. you have to learn music theory and an instrument in your own time to complete one chapter, sign up to a specific forum, read the entirety of their archives and network there to build a rep in another. That's quite common with these sort of books and in all fairness, that's because there is no quick and easy way to build a brand, which the author tells you himself. so in summation, this is a pretty good book, just be sure it's what you were really looking for.

Unexpectedly Outstanding
Simply, this is an eye opening, honest exploration, of potential avenues by which to make a living out of a passion. If I was sceptical upon purchase, I was a full convert upon completing the book.If you're looking at this, expecting a direct "how to" route to becoming the next Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Diplo etc. This book is not for you. However, if like myself, you have a passion for creating music and want to begin to forge a new musical career away from the 9-5, this book is for you!I'm not going to give the contents away, I strongly recommend you purchase it and find out for yourself.I look forward to applying the author's guidance and hopefully see changes including a new career.

A must read!
An honest and useful read. There isn't another book like this for producers on the market. Covers all the basics necessary to get your business started on par with the current market leaders. This is the work of someone who has put in the nitty gritty hours and collected only the best of their knowledge in order to share it with us.Read this book. Take notes. Take action.

Nothing really ground-breaking here
Well that as a waste of $10. Some good tips, but overall you could find the same information with a simple google search. Also, it is a very short read--took me less than an hour to go through from cover to cover.Save your money. This isn't worth the asking price.
