Love, Love...LOVE these OHTO GS01 pens!!
The OHTO GS01 is such an unusual looking pen, I wasn't sure what to feel about it when I first saw it. Then I ordered one. My first reaction was...WOW! It comes with an OEM OHTO cartridge in it, and it's super fine (not my desired line weight), so I wanted to swap the cart out with a Parker G2 standard cartridge (in Medium). This next part is amazing! So I ordered a Parker brand cartridge for it (in gel ink). The tolerances of the GS01 are so exact that not even the Parker brand cartridge would work properly! (Parker's tip on the refill was out of tolerance, and wouldn't fit through the tip cone on the pen). I got a different Parker cartridge which was in-tolerance, and it worked perfectly. The GS01 writes like a dream. The construction is robust, and the balance is excellent. The all metal body has nice heft to it, but isn't overly heavy. The pen feels like a quality writing instrument in the hand. I really like this pen (in case this wasn't obvious already!). I highly recommend the GS01! It's a very nice, and very welcome, addition to my pen collection. And the best part of all...the price is more than affordable. Highly recommend!

high quality pen, very well designed, writes amazingly
i look for pens that are aesthetic and designed well and built and made with a lot of attention to deatil and somewhat over engineered for a pen, i have pens that are cheaper that are amazing and i have pens that are very expenisive that are amazing, i write and use pens everyday, i build systems online and businesses and engineer systems and i do a lot of planning and i enjoy writng out and drawing my own plans, checklists, systems, ideas, designs and more, so i look for great pens that write well and feel great in your hand and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and i discovered this company called ohto and i bought this GS01 silver pen and it quickly become on of my favorite pens, it feels amazing in your hand and the writing smoothness is great, compared to other pens, the ball point writes perfectly is not too fast and not too slow, i noticed im able to write in better handwriting and more detail, plus the pen cam is amazing and its almost like a fidget, very satisfying and once you click it you can just feel the quality of the pen, obviously i over analyzed it compared to most other people, and as a systems engineer i pay attention to deatils quality and design in everything and this pen and ohto pens are exteremly well built and engineered and are among my favorite pens, highly recommend this pen.

Meh
I am a pen freak . Always on the hunt for a great pen. Price doesn’t matter . Often the cheapest dollar store pens write great. This one feels like quality and sits in hand well. Honestly though it doesn’t write as smooth as some of my cheaper pens . Nothing special about the stream of ink from the pen. I’ve thrown away pens that write comparable . It writes ok. Not anything to brag about . The ink is also not dark . I have some gel Ubrand pens I got at Target that write smoother and darker than this one. Had I known it was just an ok pen that the ink isn’t so dark , personally I wouldn’t spend the money .

Good pen for the price, ink could be better
The Ohto GS01 pen is made of aluminum so it is pretty light (19 grams), but it is solidly built and feels good in the hand. The clicker works very well but is loud, which may be distraction if you are using it (or fidgeting with it) in a quiet environment. I'm not as impressed with the ink as the pen, however. It is supposed to have a 0.7mm tip, but it writes a finer line than my 0.7mm Jetstream pens. In addition the ink is really more of a dark gray rather than a solid black. Not a deal breaker to me since I intended on replacing the stock ink with a blue Acroball refill, but even if I was sticking with black I would be replacing this ink. Overall recommended, esp. if you prefer the finer line the stock ink provides.

Sleek and writes smoothly
I've been using this pen for about 2 weeks now for daily journaling and I am enjoying using it. Visually I like how the pen looks and it functions well too. The pen has a good shape and rests in the hand nicely. The length of the tip of the pen to paper feels like a good distance. It's easy to write with and the ink flows nicely. The click mechanism sounds nice and feels right. The weight of the pen is fairly light. There is less fatigue when writing for a long time. I enjoyed this pen so much that I bought 2 more for my graphic designer friends :) I will probably buy some refills so I can keep using this as a daily.

Excellent pen
It’s a great pen, especially for under $15. It definitely feels better than a steel Parker Jotter (which is about $7 more). My only gripe (with both, actually) is that the grip could be improved. The Parker is matte, but far too thin and not super textured. This one’s slippery but wider, so overall I’d say it’s better while still imperfect. The click mechanism feels really nice and solid, and the whole pen looks super nice. I feel like it’s more durable than the steel Jotter, because it’s thicker. It’s also a light pen, so great for writing longer. The standard ink is also very high quality. Definitely narrower than advertised (which I like because it’ll last longer), but it’s super smooth and makes dark lines. The clip feels a smidge flimsy, but again the Parker Jotter is like that too. So it’s not intended to be super durable. If you’re a fan of nice pens, this is an excellent choice. I gave it to my brother as a gift after trying it, but I do kinda wish I got one for myself. Because I’d probably use it more than the Jotter. A million times better than “nice” pens like Pilot G2, or Pentel Energel. Definitely worth the price, and I highly recommend it! Pros: - Great feel/comfort - Excellent ink - Nearly unbeatable price - Durable - Smooth click mechanism - Great grip section width Cons: - A smidge slippery - Weak-ish clip (but as solid as comparable pens, so hard to fault it for this)

Love these pens and have had no issues.
Good ink flow. No globbing or smudging. Very smooth. I am keeping this one in my backpack as a spare.
