I loved this book. I don't say that lightly: I. Loved. This. Book.
This book has both cursing and on-screen sex – if those things will turn you off, this probably isn't the book for you. But just know that you're going to be missing one heck of a great book. While this is technically book two of a series, you *do not* have to have read the first book to read and enjoy this one, it completely stands alone. That said, the first book introduces Brooks and the other boys, and it is hilarious and sweet and should totally be read for those reasons. If you're sensitive to a “religious people being stereotyped as awful and judgmental” theme in books, it might seem like this one could go down that path, but IT DOES NOT. I can't say too much more without spoiling but it is not what it seems like it could turn out to be if written differently. Ms. Archer handles the issue of Leah's pregnancy and her job with total respect and dignity.I loved this book. I don't say that lightly: I. Loved. This. Book. Just writing this review makes me want to put my laptop down and go back to re-read it because Ms. Archer has such a gift for writing stories that bursts with both humor and heart. As I was reading, I highlighted at least twenty five things that made me laugh as I was reading or that I just thought were fabulous, that's the sign of a great book in my opinion.Leah was fabulous, and I loved her from start to finish. Even when Brooks tried to give her the moon and spoil her rotten, she kept her feet on the ground and never took his generosity and turned into a spoiled princess. I had total faith that she could have raised the baby on her own and made a go of it because she was strong and smart. And then there's Brooks. Gosh, I loved Brooks. The phrase “swoon worthy” totally fits Brooks. As I'd hoped when I read the first book, Brooks was hilarious and sweet and when he met his match, he fell hard, even though he really didn't want to. I adored everything about him. (Side note: I totally got the Wolverine/Deadpool reference and I'm just waiting for a proposal.) SPOILER to the end of this one paragraph: I confess that I was concerned about how the Marcus situation was going to be handled and I did not see what happened coming at all - I laughed and loved it.I also loved Brooks' relationship with his friends. I seriously would happily read a buddy comedy book with just those four idiots (said lovingly) going on adventures and making fun of each other. If you enjoy a fake-relationship book, or just a story that will make you laugh as you fall in love with the characters, you should read this book. I highly recommend it.

Good!
I really enjoyed the first book. It was super funny but full of heart. This one had moments of humour, and the couple had great chemistry, but the drama with the birth father put a bit of a damper on the romance. It kept me from fully loving this story. Still, it was a light and fluffy read, and I'm still glad I read it. Audio is also fantastic.

Enjoyable Read
I totally enjoyed reading The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby by Kira Archer, book two in her Winning the Billionaire series. Brooks Larson is well-known as the good time guy, the life and soul of the party, not the person one were go to if they were looking for someone to take responsibility; at least that’s how he and many others see him. Despite this outward appearance, he is more than willing to step up and support mom-to-be Leah Andrews. Leah is normally a rule follower, one who doesn’t take chances but the consequence of her only one-night stand is the baby she’s now expecting. She has a new job she’s about to start at a convent school but when they discover she’s pregnant she’s not sure what will happen next. When she is in danger of losing her new job at a Catholic school, due to her unwed state, Brooks speaks up for her. The result is a temporary marriage. Now their friends are wondering and taking bets if these two will stay together long until for the baby is born.I loved Brooks and his fun, carefree ways; although it was obvious from the beginning that he wanted Leah. He never believed he was worth all the good things life has to offer. Leah might be sweet but she was strong and independent; not wanting to need anyone’s help. She did want the baby’s father to know about the pregnancy and tried to make that happen. Unfortunately, there is bad history between the two men in Leah’s life and they must now make a decision on what is best for the baby.I really loved reading this book and had trouble putting it down. Ms. Archer wove a wonderful story full of laughs, jokes, sizzling chemistry, and love, drawing me in and not letting go until I read the last page. I highly recommend The Billionaire's Unexpected Baby to other readers and look forward to the next book in this series.

Cute premise
Cute story. I liked the characters and the witty dialogue. I also appreciated how open the female leading character was about her pregnancy. Given that, I was a little dismayed with the lack of open communication between the two leading characters later in the book. Overall, this was a solid 3-star read for me. Things got a little draggy from 60-90%, which is the reason it wasn’t rated higher.

Excellent book!!!
I had never read anything by this author before, so I really didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to say that I was thoroughly impressed. The writing was excellent, it was also edited very nicely. I loved the characters and thought they were very beliable. The things I loved most of all were the banter back and forth between Leah & Brookes, and all of the realistic dialogue between all of the characters. And I have to agree wholeheartidly with what one other reviewer said: "Ms. Archer has such a gift for writing stories that bursts with both humor and heart." And after reading this book I have to totally agree with her assessment. This is not a clean book for all of you that prefer that kind of thing, but it's not accessive either. If you want to take a chance, I assure you that it is well worth the read.

Great read
The book was funny and sweet. I like how everything tied together, how there was no villains. Was a happy read for me. Still waiting for the other books in the series.
