I bought this for a costume, however I always knew I wanted to do alterations. This is my first wig, but I looked on YouTube and did the following to improve it. Plucked the hair line, plucked parallel to the hair line to thin the top a bit, removed the thick fabric lining at the front and reattached the hair tracks to the lace, used thinning shears to thin the hair, trimmed bangs, deshinned it using 2Tbsp fabric softener in a spray bottle, and using root cover up to apply dark root (comb this through). I don't think it would hold up with the decorative baby hairs but I am contemplating cutting some for around the ears to give it a little more natural illusion.All-in-all not the best wig, but it is serviceable and if you don't want a lace front wig I guess this is the alternative?

I got so many compliments on this wig! People I’ve known for years didn’t recognize me and asked me if I dyed my real hair. Granted they were men who don’t know **** about wigs but still! Great buy for Halloween or for fun if you’re not wanting to buy a really expensive one. It was easy to put on and adjust. I left it on the whole night and This is coming from a girl who has literally never worn a wig for more than ten minutes

It’s a little too fluffy on top but it’s still a really nice wig for the price.
