The Big Picture: A Guide to Finding Your Purpose in Life

The media could not be loaded.  Not hardbound book but thick enough. Book well binded. Pages are thick and white. I love it specially the content.

Dr. Whelan's great gift as a writer and an academic is to fuse her deep understanding of the issues surrounding an esoteric topic like "finding one's purpose in life" with the most practical advice on how to apply those insights in our daily lives. Accessible, smart and incredibly helpful, The Big Picture should be required reading for any young adult hoping to find their way in the "real world."

Would have closed the book after the first chapter if I wasn't forced to read it by my professor (the author of the book). Not inspiring, not helpful, but I guess a great way to put money in your own pocket surrounding your awful career as an author.

Bought this book for my daughter after hearing the author on WI Public Radio the day after we'd been discussing this topic. Excellent book! Being 40+ years older than my daughter it was nice to have something that offers the same advice I'd give...but not from mom!
