Nice little notebook.
Good joining of pages to cover. Sturdy. In between a Kelly and olive green. Great medium shade. Not drab, but not “in your face”. Elastic Band to close journal-across corner. Bookmark with small metal charm/brand name. Pages a smooth, but still lightly textured feel. Date space with lines. Lines are spaced at a “wide” rule spacing, as opposed to a narrow-rule “college” spacing.Very Nice for the price. Will look for same brand with college rule.

Pretty simple and classy notebook
Everyone likes something different in their notebooks, so I'm going to focus on telling you what this one is like. It's up to you whether that suits your needs. The cover is very simple — just a single color with no logo, branding, or decoration on the front of the faux leather material. The back does have an embossed FOROXIN logo in the corner, which is subtle and inoffensive. The cover is sturdy but certainly doesn't have the luxurious feel of leather. There's a built-in elastic band that holds the notebook closed. For the green journal, the elastic band is in a bright green that adds a splash of color & character to the otherwise simple design. It works very well. There's a built-in bookmark too. To me, this is probably the most disappointing aspect of the design. For the green journal, the bookmark is a cheap-feeling fluorescent green fabric, with a somewhat gaudy "FOROXIN" branded medallion hanging from the end. I would have been happier to have a higher quality ribbon bookmark that matches the color of the elastic band with no medallion. The paper quality is very good. It's good a weight and thickness, and it's smooth to the touch and provides a crisp writing surface. Each page has a date field in case you're taking notes or journaling. Otherwise, there's nothing fancy about the pages — just regular college rule lines (actually finely dotted lines). There is a well-constructed pocket attached to the back cover, which would work well for holding receipts or a few loose pages. The product description says it lays flat, but I found that was not necessarily the case. Because the binding is sewn together, certain pages lay flat more easily than others. If you really press a page open, it might lay flat for a while. But, generally, you'll need to hold it open while you write. In my experience, that's to be expected in any sewn binding notebook. If you really want it to lay flat, go with something spiral bound. This is a good sturdy notebook and priced well for someone who journals or takes notes regularly. It's not fancy or luxurious, but then again, it's not meant to be at this price.

I need more
This is what I needed. I love the green shade it's very soft and buttery to the touch. Other similar notebooks are double or triple this price. I'll be buying more.

I great journal
I write a LOT! Every morning for about 2 hours. I use a lot of journals. I found this one to be plain but superior in the paper and the way it lays flat when open. I just wish there were more colors to choose from.

Blotch on back cover.
For the most part, it looks great, and feels very soft. The pages aren't the flimsy paper you'd expect for this price point. My low rating comes from a spot on the back cover that looks like they spilled something on it. The soft texture has been eaten away from by whatever was spilt on it. I can't return it, cause my son already started writing in it. Oh well.

I love a good ruled notebook
I love having nice hardback ruled notebooks around. They are great to keep notes for recipe development, project development, exercise journals, to-do-lists ... it's endless.I loved the rose-pink color .. and my teen daughter did too, so she snagged it for her own use. Like mother, like daughter, I guess.

Cover is a bit too soft
But that’s literally the name of the item. So It wouldn’t be fair for me to complain on the lack of stiffness. What I don’t like is how the cover leaves creases if folded. It doesn’t seem to tear or few cheAp, it’s just in the thin side I would say.Still a perfect little book to keep notes or to stay in order. No issues with it so far. Pages are all lines and they’re a decent weight. Thinner than scrabooking but thicker than notebook paper. A good notebook overall.

Sufficient
Just started using this for the new year. It's fine. Good feel to the cover and pages. No more, no less.
