Much needed mod for Fuel Tank Crossover Line
Had to do a set of handlebars for my 17 Softail Slim. Instead of having to drain the fuel each time I need to access whatever is behind the tank, adding this is a must for anyone dealing with that stupid crossover line. While you do have to drain the fuel to do this mod, it will save you loads of time and headaches down the road. It does not come with hose clamps so make sure you have some to cinch up the connectors.

Easy install and works perfectly. No leaks.
Works perfectly. I installed it on the crossover line if my '13 FXDWG. No leaks and now I don't have to remove the fuel line from the nipple or drain the tank when I need to remove it. Worth the money.

Female end leaks a little when disconnected
I bought this to install on my Harley Road King fuel crossover line. So far, it is installed with only a little gas in the tank and it hasn’t leaked while connected. However, when the lines disconnect, I get fuel drips from the female end. Even more if I shake it a little. It seems that it isn’t 100% sealed. For now I will give this 4 stars and hope it seals better soon.

Pricey but does what it's supposed to do
Feels solid, makes it much easier to remove my gas tank. The inner diameter seems a bit narrow, but as long as fuel flows through, it's all good. I have it installed with 5.5mm fuel line, and it feels very secure. Sometimes when disconnecting, it spits a bit of fuel out, but not much. Haven't noticed any leaks otherwise.

Solid metal disconnect.
The connectors look and feel very solid. I went with metal instead of plastic because of the comfort that it should last. Internal diameter seems a bit small and I hope it doesn't cause any problems on my generator.

fuel Line Quick Disconnect
The price seemed a bit high, but they are easy to use and DO NOT LEAK. Much better than plastic and easier to use than the old fashioned outboard motor tank connectors. Would recommend to anyone who needs a way to disconnect a fuel line without it leaking, even if you forget to close the shutoff valve at the tank first.

Difficult to Disengage, Challenging Fit
I bought this disconnect to use on my 1989 Honda Hawk. It was almost as difficult to disengage as simply pulling the fuel line off the petcock barb. Admittedly, part of this is due to the Hawk's cramped design. Also, there were fitment issues when using a fuel filter, so I removed it from the bike.

Expensive But Worth It.
I've used the plastic quick disconnects for years and I've never found them to be... satisfying. They are hard to get together, fussy and feel cheap. This, on the other hand, reeks of quality. It's solid feeling, precise and clips together very smoothly and easily. Push the button and it comes apart and doesn't leak a drop. It's expensive but it works - perfectly.
