do you add this to food or water?

I only add to water with the plastic spoon that comes with the vitamin. Also do remember to level it out on the spoon/even it out on the spoon.

Is this product safe for Eclectus? My newly adopted eclectus has a plucking problem.

Nekton is a respectable product and would clearly label any precautions for specific species of birds. Plucking is a complex problem that isn't likely to be helped by one single supplement. Best to provide your bird with a stimulating environment and lots of love and interaction. What this product does is provide some of the necessary nutrients to help grown new feathers; and it does that quite well.

What are the 18 amino acids? I see the listing for the trace elements and minerals, but no amino acids.

Nutritional additives per kg: Nutritional additives per kg: 6,600,000 IU vitamin A, 10,000 IU vitamin D3, 20,160 mg vitamin E, 670 mg vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride), 1,680 mg vitamin B2 (riboflavin) 3,330 mg pantothenic acid (calcium-D pantothenate), 10,000 mg nicotinamide, 670 mg vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 225 mg folic acid, 2,000 µg vitamin B12, 16,670 mg vitamin C (L(+)-ascorbic acid), 1,360 mg vitamin K3 (menadione-sodium bisulfite), 200,000 µg biotin, 3,000 mg iron (iron (II) sulfate), 1,220 mg zinc (zinc sulfate), 1,250 mg manganese (manganese oxide), 250 mg copper (copper (II) sulfate), 100 mg iodine (calcium iodate)

good afternoon which is the expiration date of the product?

The expiration date should be located on the bottom of the container. Unfortunately, there is no way to determine what the expiration date will be on the product you receive.

Excellent for Birds with Poor Feathers

The best supplement for birds that I know of for molting or poor feathers. I’ve been using it for many, many years and wouldn’t be without it. I put it on wet food or in water.
