I like the easy screw open with the screw lid. I have very little cupboard space so I use my bucket to store all types of flour products! Perfect, and easy to handle. I suggest using them for any long term food storage.

I like to buy the large bags of flour and sugar from Costco. I needed a good place to store them and wanted a plastic that is food grade. These are perfect. I have two so far and plan to get more. Easy to open and close and a good size for a smaller person like me to carry. I love that you can get different colored tops so I can tell what is inside without opening. Great buy and always come promptly and well packaged.

You may be able to find the components individually for slightly cheaper, but this is a good little 'kit' that you know has been vetted. We use it to hold the contents of the giant bags of bread flour from Costco. It should help keep the flour from going bad, getting weevils, etc, since even with an avid baker, those bags take some time to get through.The top seals well, with a nice screw-in action. The bucket does appear to be food grade plastic. It's very convenient.

I got this product to use for moving snakes that I have rescued. I made some holes in the bucket for air and it works fine.

These buckets are pretty serious!The air-tight seal is really no joke!The collar that holds the lid on is a bit hard to get on but once it's on, IT IS ON!I'm really impressed with these containers and would definitely recommend the container (and the vendor) to others.I'll be purchasing from these guys again.There were some little extra things they threw in with these that really shows they care about what they are doing. They sent a nice letter, an excellent product, and an additional moisture measurement sensor too! The measurement sensor is a nothing fancy (it is disposable). But the fact that they added to the delivery is a nice touch.
