These are so attractive and durable that everyone wants to wash them. So when I need the ease of disposable, I reach for these. After use they are compostable.

We used these plates almost exclusively during the Holiday season for lunches and snacks. They are very sturdy and hold a lot of food. Will be purchasing again.

I have purchased these plates 2 years in a row for Thanksgiving dinner. I was looking for something sturdy yet nicer looking than just white paper or plastic. Not only are these strong, but they look great and hold a lot of food. The pattern on each plate is a bit different. I get tons of compliments on them. And they are environmentally friendly. I rated this a 4 but would give it a 4+ only due to the fact that some of the plates came a bit chipped. But only 1 or 2.

We ordered these for my husband's 75th birthday party and they were a big hit with guests. As others have noted, they are sturdy and stand up well to steak knives. Some of the plates started to delaminate due to moisture in salads, etc., so we didn't try to wash them and use again. Will definitely re-order for future get-togethers.

Bought 400 of these plates for our wedding, great deal for a unique looking plate. Love the look of them! They don't lay totally flat on a table at first, and coming out of the package they smell a little funny, but we left them out overnight after setting the tables and it was totally fine. I would definitely purchase again.

These are so amazing to use! They are more sturdy than paper plates that I bought at the store. I love how these hold more food and one can cut a piece of steak without having to worry about going through the plate. The only problem that I had was that this didn’t fit inside my 700 watt microwave.These will work great for family picnics and church gatherings as well. Plus on the nights we don’t want to do dishes we can use these.Side note I found out that I can wash these with mild dish soap and warm water. I just didn’t let them soak in the sink and most definitely not recommend putting them in the dishwasher either. So if wanting to use them more than once it is safe to wash by hand and then let air dry. These hold a lot of food. Ours held a quarter pound hamburger patty, steamed veggies, mashed potatoes with gravy and pickles. This would be sturdy enough for steak or barbecued chicken and whatever else you could think of using it for.

Each dish is a different color and pattern which wouldn’t be a problem if they were striated or nicely patterned. However most plates have what looks like random blobs of mud on the plate, some plates are broken or chipped and most are split. Maybe 2 of 25 are usable. I did not open the other package of 25. I understand that these are bamboo and as a conscientious recycler, I love the concept. However I would not serve a meal to guests on these plates, nor would I eat off of them. Not recommended.

Used these for our wedding since they fit our eco-friendly, woodsy theme and I was so happy with them! They added texture, they were modern, but also I didn't feel guilty about tossing them. They matched my bamboo cutlery very well too. They were pretty sturdy too!

After a couple of days of receiving the product the plates were covered in black mold and I couldn't use it in fear getting sick. For such an expensive product the company should have taken better care in terms of durability. The plates were not even sturdy because when I tried to wash it to get rid of the mold it became all soggy. Worst experience as I purchased them for travel and it didn't meet the purpose.
