in the past, the item was called 'butchers string' or 'butchers twine,' and i could see it and feel it before i paid for the item. i remembered: that the twine was bright white, tightly wrapped, and labeled '100% cotton. now i was ordering online, and hoped it would be easy for me to identify the correct thing. it wasn't. What arrived was not white, or even in the white family of colors. yet the description mentioned 'white.' this tan color is white? nope. the cord was way too thin., and it was wrapped to too loose.and wrapped too loose. I called Amazon for help selecting the item i needed. the second ball of twine was still way too wrong. Bummer. I don't know what to do now. Maybe i need to contact a chef or a restaurant owner. The twine is probably correct as it is, but i removed 2 stars because of my response to receiving both items that wioll go back to amazon.5need to purchase online
