Bemis 500EC 006 Toilet Seat, 1 Pack Round, Bone

So I’m laughing writing this review because well, I’m taking pics of my toilets and sharing them online, like there’s nothing weird about that! I Purchased 3 of these, two ALMOND color one white. I’m glad I purchased the almond color because they match perfectly, our house is from 1968 if that helps anyone with selecting one of the 3 beige choices. I read some reviews receiving damaged or broken seats. All 3 of mine came in perfect condition, no chips or scratches and finish is perfect. Installation was a breeze. I did read some complaining they broke within a few months or they loosen easily and you have to tighten screws on occasion. I will update if I experience any problems but as of yet I’m happy with my purchase and they arrived within 2 days of ordering

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great brand. High quality toilet seats in perfect colors. I have an older house. The perfect toilets are fawn and a pale blue. I bought other toilet seats that were off a little with color. This brand was perfect match and heavy duty, feels sturdy. Nice attachment to toilet on this one too. Will stay and be easier to get Cleaner in hinge area. You get what you pay for. I now have switched three toilets to Bemis brand. Worth every penny and they look and feel great

Value for money. Easy to install. Added to my toilet with a bidet.-Install the bolts first-hold a flat head screw driver on the top to keep bolt stable and then screw the nuts to desired tightness-Fit toilet seat after bolts installed-don’t be shy, make it snug on the bolts-push-Lay bolt covers over the top in the unlock position, push firmly-Turn bolt covers to the right to lockMy color match was perfect. Almond.

I would give it 5 stars but the color is noticeably different than the image online, it’s much lighter than I expected. Was super easy to install. Feels solid. Other than color difference I’m happy and would recommend.

I was trying to match a 1960’s American Standard toilet. We looked up color names from the 60’s, and there was a Fawn Beige. The image of this lid looked dark but we took a chance, since it had the same name, and it matches great- not perfect but very close. Ease of installation was a plus too.

Since my old seat was the same it was a direct substitution. Used my old mounting hardware. 3 minutes and done.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good replacement for my worn out one

In my house, the previous owner installed one green, one blue, and one brown toilet. It must have been a 70’s thing or something. Well, matching the colors of these toilets is nearly impossible, at best. This one actually comes close to the right color, and actually looks quite good. For the price, these are very good wood seats (i’ve purchased 3 to date), and each has lasted several years. But, don’t expect them to last a lifetime. Eventually, the paint will wear off, or a hinge will wear out.
