Waterproof and comfortable
Love these boots. Dubbed them well before going out, they passed comfort and waterproof. Slightly blistered my left heal thou ok now after a couple of walks. No crushing of toes, absolute heaven. Looking forward to longer hikes, for women who need the wider fitting these suit very well. Have been on a few hikes with em now and still really pleased, through snow, mud and big puddles my feet remain dry and cosy, looking forward to testing em up mountains

Best Hiking Boots
I’ve used many different hiking boots over the years and these have proven to be the best by all accounts. The wide toe box is perfect for wider feet. The boots are comfy and sturdy, grip wise I’ve found them to be the same as other hiking boots however once I need to replace them I will be buying another pair as overall they are the best ones I’ve worn.

Decent boot for the price
At last a boot that doesn't squash my toes. Seems well made, not too heavy. The tongue was uncomfortable for a few walks, but better now after about 40 miles. Overall a good boot for general wild walks, & quite comfortable on roads . The sole would benefit from a little extra depth of tread & could be a fraction more protective from stones under foot. But I'm 16 stone & size 13, so probably just right for lighter people. Very good value & I am pleased overall.

Comfy feet are happy feet
The comfiest boot I've ever worn! Great for wide feet but the tread doesn't look overly durable; we'll see .... dry so far and appears good value for money.

Glue fails and tread splits from sole under 100miles
These boots initially felt like a great buy. They were good quality out the box and comfortable, even including a choice of two supplied laces. I have very wide feet, 275mm long 107mm wide and they just about accommodated me with pinky toe spacers and some toe socks. I did have to use special lacing patterns and I couldn't get a perfect support. I'd say for most people, the large toe box is probably plenty, if you have my foot proportions probably keep searching for wider boots. The issue others report of the tongue pressing in and hurting went away quite quickly after breaking them in, while I agree it's an annoyance at first, it's something that was no issue for the majority of my owning them. Having to break boots in isn't a new thing, it's just an unusual part to have to break in. I completed around 100miles of Scottish medium difficulty grassy or gravel track terrain up hills in fair summer weather and they were pretty good, grip didn't let me down. However The sole of the boot, as others have found, is not glued well enough to survive even my basic usage case. It split where the treads are glued to the sole and started to peel away. Furthermore, the colour was very awkward to find a boot polish match to, after some initial polish passes that didn't match well, I instead used a clear Scarpa product. Despite my efforts caring for the boots and ensuring the condition of the leather was good, as soon as I hit the first Autumn downpour I was walking in a puddle. From my experience the waterproofing was not good, but this may well have been water coming in through the poor glue of the sole rather than the leather. If they functioned as I had hoped, I would have been happy with the value as they are a nice boot overall, but the issues with glue, waterproofing and polish colour match mean that they are of no use to me. I had to return them due to the glue defect and instead purchased some Columbia Men’s Bugaboot™ III Wide Boot for the winter. I'm aware that Keen has made changes to their glue process in new products, and I'd be happy to give another Keen product a chance given how nice these were in other areas for the time I was able to enjoy them. But, for this edition of these boots I'd sadly say to avoid them, the reports from other users and my own experience say that you will get at most 100 miles out of them before having to return or replace under warranty. Unfortunately I think this issue snuck past many critics reviewing the boots including runrepeat.com My return was hassle free and very quick thanks to Amazon.

Comfy boot . Durability a downer
These boots really comfy. Good toe box, bridge over foot quite good grip very good. But only used for dog walking and odd easy hike since Feb 24, however Sole is parting company with plenty of wear left. These are definitely a 2 season boot 3 at most.

Because my foot is naturally wide, Keen boots fit very well. They last a long time under the abuse. I usually get about 1 1/2 to 2 years of wear. Keen is my go to!
