2-Pack Working great for Steam Machine's Rear I/O
Steam Machine doesn't have near enough I/O, imo. I've got it on my desk like a PC, with the rear I/O being 2x USB 2.0 ports I needed two more for my peripherals, so I picked up a 2-Pack of these splitters and it does the job perfectly. I'm splitting two USB 2.0 ports for a keyboard, mouse dongle, mouse charging cable, and wireless headphones dongle. This isn't something that requires the full USB 3 bandwith, so I can make do with splitting out the dual USB 2.0 ports rather than burning the USB-C port on low-bandwith devices or giving up the higher-bandwith 3.0 ports up front (which would just make it look messy anyways). Or in other words, this was the perfect go-to solution for the Steam Machine's limited rear I/O in my case. TL;RD: Two pack of the splitters turned my Steam Machine's rear I/O into effectively 4x USB-A 2.0 ports and it's working great.

It does not sync data for both devices at the same time. It did not work for my glove80 keyboard

Charge 2 devices at once
Perfect adapter if you have an electric recliner & need more than 1 socket to charge 2 devices at once! This replaced another kind I bought that was in a cartridge type case & wasn’t able to fit into the set in socket in the chair. This is perfect if you want to charge an iPhone & iPad at same time or a diabetic pump & iPhone at the same time.

Doesn't work for data transfer
Bought it for my car so I could plug in my phone and my dash cam. It didn't acknowledge the phone at all for data transfer though I think it may have worked for charging. I'm not sure as I pulled it right out as it didn't do the main job I wanted it to do.

good for a keyboard and mouse
This is a USB 2.0 hub in a convenient Y cable format. I got it mainly for a wired keyboard and mouse, which both work well. In fact I'm typing this review using the keyboard and mouse plugged into this item. I also tested it with a USB 2.0 thumb drive, and it added a slow down of about 5%, but it was still pretty fast for USB 2.0 (It was about 45 MB/s (360 Mb/s) without the hub, and about 41 MB/s (328 Mb/s) with the hub. The USB port I plugged the hub into was on a powered hub so it had enough power to run the keyboard and mouse, or thumb drive just fine.

I got this USB Splitter Cable for my "OLD" LG TV which only has one USB socket but unfortunately it's incompatible with that TV. No Surprise there but I'm gonna keep it for the fact it does work with everything else I have with a USB socket. That includes a newer Smart TV so it does have good compatibility for most devices. Good price & arrived on time. All Good!👍
