A SOLIDLY built stilt but
i really think these are more on the 3.5 star mark. but here goes, i work drywall, framing and ceilings for a living and these serve their purpose well. ABSOLUTELY worth $100, wore them a few days in past week and while they are absolutely a bit heavier than most late model stilts they in no way feel rickety or dangerous (more so than other stilts anyways). The straps are garbage though, its a cheap fix but be weary.. these straps are almost pure nylon and are slick as owl ****! A coworker who owns these sprayed his straps with a rubberized coating to some sucess while I simply swapped out my old raggedy wall board straps on. the straps are also thin so if you do keep the originals I suggest adding a seatbelt cover or pad of carpet over them to distribute the weight more evenly. oddly enough this strap fix made the stilt feel lighter and reduced felt fatigue signifigantly. these are great for the money, better than the old crapp wallboards I was walking for sure! i also want to emphasize I do COMMERCIAL work in these extended to 40' often. if im in full tools i weigh everybit of 220 and have noticed NO wear on tubes. will update as time goes on but for the time being these are a great value. UPDATE: Ok after a month or so of daily use I have started to wear the soles/shoe are wearing thin. Im almost down to the screws holding them on, this degradation is MUCH faster than any others I have seen. They were too thin and soft to begin with and get screws and other debris stuck in them entirely too often. Shoes are a cheap replaceable part so its no BIG deal but for anyone who actually uses these much it will be an issue. I plan on buying some shoes for durastilts and drilling them to fit properly. Still a great product and great budget friendly stilts but the cheapo rubber soles will simply not stand up to a commercial jobsite with daily use.

Very nice stilts.
These stilts were easy to set up. I do have experience walking in stilts, so this was just a refresher course for me. The knee strap is a tad bit uncomfortable but that was a quick fix. The ankle straps do get a bit flimsy after a while, its just a matter of bending down every once in a while and tightening them. The upper calf strap isn't secured to the stilt itself which kind of irritates me. The build of the stilts themselves are of the highest quality for the price range. Very wonderful stilts. A few minor things here and there but nothing major.

Zero instructions and poor packaging
Simple and fast order delivered in a timely manner. Wasn't able to get to opening the package for a couple of days. Open the box and loose parts fall out. Open the remainder of the packaging and there is just a puzzle of parts with no instructions. I have no idea how easy they are to assemble because there's no assembly instructions. I have no idea how stable they are as I can't put them together without first finding assembly instructions. I have no idea how sturdy they are as I can't put them together and test them without first finding assembly instructions. These were the cheapest set I could find and you get what you pay for so that's on me. I suggest spending a little more money and buying from a better company.

WORKS as Advertised!!
Product is exactly as advertised. I've had no prior experience using Drywall stilts so I can't compare this product to another and offer thoughts on the comparison, but I CAN say that Pentagon Tools Drywall stilts are well, made, and function excellently! I would recommend this product to anyone interested!!

Great value and price
I ordered these stilts for a Halloween costume. I ordered them in August 2013 for October 2013 so that I could practice walking well in them. First attempt was pretty good. I was unsteady, as it was my first time on stilts, but the stilts themselves were pretty good. I walked with the use of an assisting device (tall pole) to keep my balance. The straps for your calves are fairly low quality though. Because they are very hard to tighten properly and often loosen while walking, I fell (without injury thank goodness!). So for that they get a 3 star rating. If you, like I did, replace the upper straps then you shouldnt have a problem! They are similar to an extension of your own feet!

Good quality
Easy to assemble and sturdy. The straps could be a little better as far as staying in place and not having to tighten so frequently. The straps could also be a bit wider on the calf so I may look at buying different straps. These small issues aside, I am over all very happy with this purchase.

I'm not on the stilts much myself these days,as I'm getting up there in age,but my young assitant is and he finds them to be of good quality and gets around on them extremely well,we are drywall finishers so use them on pretty much every job, these ones extend from 24 to 40 inches so it makes it easier to reach 9 and 10 ft ceilings

These products are so low-quality as to be unusable. The inner shaft of the legs, which slides in and out to extend the legs, IS NOT BUILT TO THE RIGHT SIZE. It fits very loosely into the outer shaft, which allows for the stilts to shift and move in a way that is incredibly dangerous. Not only is it nearly impossible to get the holes on the inner and outer shafts to line up, but it's clear that these stilts will not stand up to any amount of use. IF MY SET WASN'T BUILT PROPERLY, YOURS WILL NOT BE EITHER - DO NOT ORDER THESE STILTS! I have another set of stilts that I bought (already used) a decade ago, in which the inner and outer shafts are quite snug together, and they are still in working order after more than a decade of HARD use. You get what you pay for - my old set was $800 new. I should have known better than to get cheap stilts... And you should too!
