Legendary American Motors Magazine: Premiere Issue

I got this for my Dad as a Christmas gift. His Dad worked for AMC and this was truely a great trip down memory lane for him. He sat down and read the thing cover to cover. He loved it. Graphics were great. He even asked me to order the book that was advertised in the magazine. It’s too bad this didn’t get enough support to publish. My dad would have loved it. Great job on the magazine. It was my Dads favorite gift this year by far!

Absolutely amazing, finally a magazine that shows there was once another real car manufacturer. So many great independent auto makers have gone quietly by the waste side only to be over shadowed by the big three who do nothing more than turn out cookie cutter cars and show little to no imagination. The contributions of all those that have ceased in automotive history far outweigh what we are left with, and I'm always glad to see another publication about the underdogs!Just think how much better off we would be if the big three all went under and all the independents had survived !!!!

This is a great quality, very informative, well written magazine and it is printed on heavy weight glossy paper. If you are interested in American Motor (AMC) cars this is a MUST read! (check out the other 5 Star reviews for other great descriptions) This magazine arrived within a few days of ordering. We not only recommend ordering this issue but we're waiting for and will be order the upcoming issues!

I LOVE this book...Honestly I don't read any type of book other than technical or books like this one. I am a Chevy person, but have always liked (and owned) many AMC vehicles. I liked the authors style of informative, but not too long writing.

Finally, a well-written periodical exclusively about American Motors Corporation. This magazine includes featured cars, historical perspectives, vintage advertising, and much more. This high-quality publication looks and feels more like a book and has full color photography throughout. Truly a must-have for all AMC enthusiasts and a welcome addition to any “car guys” or (gals) automotive library.

Great publication, recommended for anyone with an interest in AMCs, the vintage ads alone are worth the time to order and read.I would love to see it stay full time as a quarterly magazine.So glad to see someone filling this needed segment of the market!'Thanks!

Excellent stories, photography, and memories. Too bad there wasn't enough following to continue publishing. The history and innovation of AMC is a big piece of the automotive industry.
