Works well to off-load pressure from nearby wound site on person with severe skin failure and macerated skin. Best technique to secure it with a wrapping technique and then put sock on. Person has said it feels much better ro have this foam cushion to configure their heel.

Yes this product give me extra comfort and protection at the back of the heel from surgical procedure. Wish it had double sided adhesive or vel-crow to hold in place while while trying to get ace bandage or a shoe on. Thus only 4 stars rather then 5

These pads are a life saver. I broke 3 ankle bones last November, had surgery and then my wound didn't want to heal. Went to wound care and used these pad to cover. They are great padded dressings and I highly recommend.

Very absorbent and does not stick to wounds. I have a vascular wound on my lower leg and it likes to drain a lot, especially when I have certain treatments like stem cells or skin graphs. This adds a double layer of protection that I put on along with an absorbent bandage. It works well and can absorb a lot to where it’s pretty saturated when I take it off. I’ve tried others, but this one works really well. It can hold up to almost 5 times its weight! So if you have a wound or something that has heavy to moderate heavy flow or drainage definitely purchase these you won’t be disappointed. The price is a little steep, but it is well worth it because it saves your clothes, your sheets and just about anything that you don’t want your drainage to stain or get onto.
