Works well, sensitive to debris in the pipe
Updated 4/30/243hrs after install in a closed system, radiant heating system, it developed a load rattle. Readings dropped from 7.2 gpm to 6.6.Now I have to undo it from its NPT couplings to look inside and see what happened.Follow up:Removed the unit and inspected the rotor. It was unbalanced by a small blob of teflon pipe seal compound from one of the joints in the system. Replaced the unit and everything works as expected.Note : the NPT threads are a fraction large and the NPT connector "bottoms out" before making a tight enough seal. I filed the male connector slightly and reassembled. All OK now!

Beefy flow meter usable with a wide variety of fluids
The listing’s title title calls this a “water meter”, but it is also suitable for diesel, gasoline, kerosene, methanol, or any other non-corrosive, low viscosity fluid. It smells like it was calibrated with diesel fuel, so I would probably not use it for potable liquids. Compared to aluminum bodied meters, this unit is a beast, with its cast stainless steel body weighing in at 32.1 oz with its included 1” to ¾” adapters, and 29.1 oz without them. This flow meter needs at least 2.5 gallons/minute flow to be accurate. I acquired this unit for the farm gasoline tank since that pump has the highest flow rate. The unit can quickly and easily be set to display in liters, gallons, pints, or quarts. Once I set it to gallons, it remembers the setting. The unit that I received powers down after two minutes or so of no flow, which is nice to save on battery and display life. The manufacturer recommends calibration before first use, and monthly thereafter, but for my application, close is close enough. I am just using the flow meter to avoid over-filling the tank on the equipment being filled, and to track approximately how much total fuel has been drawn from the main storage tank more accurately than the “guess gauge” on the storage tank itself. Once mowing season starts back up in the spring, I may add a stub hose between the meter and the Gasoline Spout Nozzle because with this meter attached it makes things a bit unwieldy and the flow meter cannot be mounted near the pump or motor. The cast body of the meter has only an inlet and outlet opening which reduces potential leaks; the electronics are completely separated from the flow. The meter’s internal flow turbine generates an inductive signal which passes through the one-piece cast body to a sensor. Because of this, the unit cannot be located close to the fuel pump or motor because the magnetic fields generated by them would interfere with the sensor in the meter.Since this flow meter will measure up to 26 GPM and 90 psi, it is ideally suited for my application. The unit has a solid, hefty feel that should hold up to the rigors of farm use. The electronic unit, being separate from the fluid, can easily be removed without fuel spillage to change the batteries, or replace the entire electronics unit, as necessary. The included user manual suggests that new electronic boards are available from the manufacturer- at least for the time being. The manual clearly shows how to test/adjust the calibration, set the preferred display units, check and reset the single cumulative flow (each equipment fill up), and total cumulative flow (total amount withdrawn from the storage tank since last reset). So far, I am pleased with this device which provides a lot of functionality for the money.

Nice flow meter
Easy to configure, altho the menu can be a little tricky to navigate. The math to use to calibrate the unit can be a little confusing, but just take your time and repeat the test several times.Easily detects liquid flow, even down to small amounts.Only major downside is the installation/replacement of the batteries. It's tricky to reinstall the gasket seal as it appears to be slightly too big for the grooves. So it took several attempts to get it to stay in place while screwing the cover back on. It doesn't take much of a gap for moisture to egress into electronics and destroy the unit. Had this happen with another unit. Use some silicone or petroleum jelly to help keep the gasket in place and make a tight seal

CGOLDENWALL Turbine Flow Meter Digital Fuel Flowmeter
Great Company! The first digital meter we received unfortunately was not working properly. However, I reached out to the company, and they responded immediately. I was given some troubleshooting to do, which failed. They immediately expedited a new meter out to me. We installed it and it is working perfectly.Great customer service!! I highly recommend them..
